I'm under NDA and I am not sure if I can say any details. I will say everything went well. I came to alleviate my doubts and my doubts have been relieved. They are working hard. Some of the people that came to Hashfast are from out of town traveling long distances. So, it seems like people are really serious about ASIC mining.
Dude, if you are unsure, just allow them to proof read what you wish to post prior. Then it's win-win for both Hashfast and the forum. Otherwise you're sitting on info that may be favourable for them to let people know, or rightly sensitive, but you could always confirm and keep all parties happy.

Making everyone sign an NDA is pretty stupid. I requested to go to the open house and was told: 'no' we're full. Not a huge fan of these guys right now. We know that they had an open house. However, we have no clue what was discussed. So, what was the point of it?

Being "full" is kinda the opposite idea of having an "open house". Did they offer another event or to reschedule?

They have a good reason not to invite so many people. They were full. This answer may not satisfy your questions but it is what it is. this is the worst "open" day ever. at least bitcoinorama did some interviews and took some video. hashfast blows.

They were full. This answer may not satisfy your questions but it is what it is. It's just that the concept "Open House" isn't usually associated with requirements for NDAs. Usually it's more powerpoint, meet and greet, and vegetable platters. So, in the light of oxymorons, "it is what it is" is hardly appropriate. "They are who they are" is probably more appropriate. And so far, who they are is the gang who can't shoot straight, at least so far as public relations and perceptions. With Cointerra out there, dysfunction like this is more problematic all the time. But I still wish 'em well. Who doesn't need another pre-order choice?

I wish I could have made it, I was planning on driving down, but am just figuring out when that is possible, so I haven't used the email they gave yet. I think there may be some misunderstanding of what this was intended to accomplish. The NDA is in place because there are multiple companies doing similar things. There is a lot of information that could benefit a competitor.
It seems like the open house was their way of letting the community know that they exist in the capacity that they claim, on a more personal level than internet searches. Not to answer every question that an investor would reasonably have. I'm just thinking from a companies perspective here, would you want to release all your info? It's kind of like a game of chicken at the moment. Who will get closer to the cliff before hitting the breaks? I bet Cointerra and HashFast would want to wait until the other company releases their information so that they can price accordingly.

... I didn't go to the open house but I did visit them personally before that. I also signed an NDA and was happy to do so because they gave more information out than just about any company currently out there without physical chips.
You can't fault them for that, right now as long as everyone at the open house can agree that the specs they have shown are valid, that this company is a legit company, and that they are still on good standing to deliver when they say they will, what more can you ask for. ...
An ASIC company with zero track record & zero cred holds an open house where people are turned away, and the select few who make it in are made to sign NDAs. I think i got all i need Edit: An interesting IPO being offered here by DeadTerra (not to be confused with Cointerra), involving HashFast (not to be confused with Fast Hash). Any comments, considering there's talk of a deal with first HashFast devices going exclusively to DeadTerra?
