If the founders own the other 3million, why are they issued on the exchange at all? The can keep those shares privately held and still earn the dividends form them. With the shares issued on the exchange as they are, the founders could cash out their shares at any point and noone would be any the wiser.
I agree. I guess they haven't realised this, but who knows. It would be nice for them to address this problem. Maybe they could share their btct.co portfolio?

The LabCoin portfolio is likely empty, unless they buy back shares to run up the price...

Looks like it's slowly going down back to IPO price. I guess lot's of people took the 300-400% profit and be done with it.
I wouldn't be surprised if AM's price suddenly jumped up again.
Anyway, easy money, like any IPO nowadays.
No, it doesn't look like that at all. Jup, Down it is.

Can swede PM me before making any glorious posts, so I can dump my entire BTC holding onto Labcoin stock prior to the pump. Many thanks!

Speculators are running off to join the BTCGARDEN pump, so the price will slide as they near fulfilment of their IPO. As an investor, knowing the price may go down further from speculator exit, what is the value proposition of holding LABCOIN at the moment? Why is it currently trading at twice the capital raised? What is the story with the 3,000,000 operator shares in play?

Sorry, I ain't buying anything "TheSwede75" is pumping, and also from a company that popped out of nowhere. If I had to bet, I'd bet on btcgarden.

I agree. I lost faith in TheSwede after all his lies about how the IPO would be ran. I realize it filled up faster than expected, but there was no reason to rush the sale over a few hours rather than the 16-24 hours that he promised.

Yes lets try to cause some panic,
I hold 100K+ shares and took out some of my initial investment, why would you panic sell now when the company hasnt said much when all it will take is a small bit of news to get others to buy in?
also Why BTCgarden? Because they are chinese? they are asking for so much money it seems a bit ridiculous to me but ill probably put in a couple 100BTC incase it does make some movement,
Just saying if people are selling Labcoin now go for it but doing so now would be doing it out of panic.. sell into strength not weakness or no news at all..

Expensive, is better than never seeing your money again. I strongly suspect this is a scam. Well maybe not a scam, just incompetent operation.

Right,
Have you seen BTCgarden.com? the coming soon has been like that for so long, I also do not like how arrogant the operator(aiwill) is, for someone who is asking for so much money I expect a more professional attitude,
The original thread also spoke of how the company was going to raise its own money but now is asking for like 16M, expensive is not always good sometimes you get the same quality from a cheaper alternative and only because you can pay is why they charge what they charge
never see my money again? I doubled my investment in an instant and people are pissed about how they cant get in for .001 sounds like I got in at the bottom and am going to wait for my investment to mature before I just let it go, I have early adopter status as well as many of the other people who bought in at the IPO you think we are going to just let it go?

Maybe you didn't notice yet. Let me explain it to you: they don't give a shit about what you think or do. I thought this was clear by now. I'm so happy they cut me off from buying shares and didn't a give shit instead of working something. These shares are one big clusterfuck and it won't end pretty.

Its price is not a very relevant factor in its adoption....

You made money because you made a good trade, not because anything the company has done. I'm not saying you personally will lose money, but the shareholders when this company cease operation. I won't speak of this any more, time will tell. I'd be surprised if this company can get their own asic deployed within 1 year, or ever. They will probably use a portion of money to buy AM or btcgarden hardware, and then lie.

Funny I can think of instant rebuttals to your comments,
The company did EVERYTHING to influence my trade, I was originally going to purchase 300 BTC worth however only got a fraction of that, they posted transparent information and obviously put on a good enough show hence the insane demand
uh again im not the only person to have gotten in at the IPO... People who were at the right place at the right time also got to benefit like I did,
Ok but you can say the same for every mining company? I would be surprised if AIwill actually does the same considering that he has been making promises for so long, you think his thread in the securities section is the original thread? Look at custom hardware and there is a thread that has been live for 3 months or longer with deadlines he set and were not met,
sounds a bit unprofessional to me when someone who sets their own deadline cant even meet it

I doubled my investment in an instant and people are pissed about how they cant get in for .001 sounds like I got in at the bottom and am going to wait for my investment to mature before I just let it go, I have early adopter status as well as many of the other people who bought in at the IPO you think we are going to just let it go?
You misunderstand my point. I agree their may be a value proposition in holding LABCOIN in two-three months, but what is the value proposition in holding it right now, when you could potentially increase your holdings at a lower price. It is foolish to simply take an opposition stance that speculators are bad for the market-- Closing your eyes doesn't make the world disappear. One must withhold judgement to seek understanding of others. In application: if you understand the motivations of speculators, then you can understand their choices and make predictive long-term holding decisions. I suggest there will be a better moment to buy LABCOIN then now, if you buy now then you disagree with my proposition.

What the hell are you talking about? his own words were: "we will have around 100T hashrate online on this August or September as our best situation." https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15911.msg2232512#msg2232512And we are on 2nd day of August, he has nearly a full 2 month before he pass his own deadline? Seems to me they are right on schedule. Also he specifically said it's their best case scenario, which means delays are possible. Oh and demand for BTCST were extremely high too, how did that turn out for their investors? I'm sure plenty of people made a lot of money in trading BTCST too, as long as they weren't the last ones holding it when it collapsed.

Exo
I was not even talking to you nor am I "Closing my eyes?"
I have not purchased any shares at these levels and have already stated that I sold some of my position to hedge my initial investment, Why are people so impatient? I purchased stocks of this company because 1 IPO and 2 Sounded promising,
So it doesnt move every day? boo friggen hoo? I was merely stating that selling now is selling out of panic since nothing has really changed since the IPO we are waiting to see what the company does next and I am waiting for more news so I can sell into STRENGTH and not Weakness,
as for kok, that is the thread he started here as I stated there is a thread in the custom hardware section with promises that were not met PRIOR to august or september, so instead of throwing info that I already know at me why dont you look back and see how AIWill has made promises which have not been kept
