It'll bounce off 0.002 a couple times at least. Lots of people trying to "double their money".

Well, I AM scheduled to update the Labcoin thread shortly. My silence as of a few days has been due to Sam and the development team being busy and traveling since last week. I am scheduled for an update today from Sam and within the next few days (overdue, I know) the founder and more developers will also beging posting here on the forum.

I like the bullish tone of that non-news news

This news is very bullish for BTC in general
That really depends on the point of view. My biggest fear is that they're going to regulate the shit out of bitcoin, making it practically impossible to use legally. And I'm near 100% sure that what we're doing here right now, the whole "bitcoin securities" thing, will be deemed illegal. That's not good, and that's not bullish for bitcoin.

Take a look at online gambling - even though they've regulated the hell out of it and tried to make it as illegal as they can, most half-intelligent (US) poker players still play online. It would be great if they didn't, but it can definitely still thrive with heavy regulation.

If you want bitcoin to achieve something we need regulations from your(our) governments. If they cannot control it, they will fight it. That's the way it is. I'm sure we'll be able to *really* use bitcoins in a few years but I guess we'll have to leave some cool stuff behind, like anonymity.

If needed, I think the whole "bitcoin securities" thing will move to a more secure location if it was deemed illegal. The United States does not rule the world, and if they want to attempt to restrict Bitcoin, or control how it is used, it would be nothing more than a speed bump. All this is besides the point of Labcoin though, when is the next update scheduled to come out?

God, I hope every congressman and senator has some bitcoins This news is very bullish for BTC in general There is an idea. If you know a congressman or senator in your personal life (remember 6 degrees of separation?) then give them some Bitcoins and personally show them how to use it. Someone here has a dad, uncle, father, mother etc who is politically important or influential.

All this is besides the point of Labcoin though, when is the next update scheduled to come out? It will go decentralized which isn't actually a bad thing. It would be wise of congress to update the crowd funding laws to support cryptocurrency securities so that the industry can grow to it's potential. All it would take is just the stroke of the pen of Obama and some congressmen getting on board.
