Technically, Waves is much better than Bitcoin. But Waves must be compared with Etherium. Only Eth and Btc are much more popular than waves.

I like waves, but nothing new for last half a year. Volume is not increasing, ICO still prefer ETH instead of Waves and Neo seems to me more powerful and perspective rather than waves.

Bitcoin has a great history. Bitcoin is known and trusted. For these reasons, he will be in the first place for a long time.

Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency.  1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin.  I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD.  Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives.  Usually the first coin people buy.  It's time for a new coin to take over, some day.  I think Waves is the best!
In my opinion that just depend how much you can invest and how long you can wait cause for me waves is better if you want to put lower amount of money and hodl it shorter. (I am talking about profit)

But in terms of price growth I think waves might be more profitable to invest than bitcoin.

For now, Bitcoin remains the king. The best one so far!!!
If you want try somenting new you can go with waves, why not!!
I think waves has good potential as well. because waves advocates itself as a blockchain platform which intends to be a decentralized place for crowdfunding and trading by tokenization.

comparing the quality of waves and bitcoin, seems that bitcoin is known and trusted. you may invest in waves but you should be patience because it took so long time. so, it depends on what you will invest and how you choose the coin based on their background.

Technically Bitcoin far better than waves even almost on all sides. The high fee and slow confirmation time in Bitcoin are get solved as time goes by , now you can use 5k satoshi as fee and you would receive your Bitcoin in few minutes . I just see waves has a big chance to grow up to 10 or 20 times in the near future with its potential makes people interested to use as a super quick payment tool even involved million dollars, where Bitcoin has too much pressure to get down instead pushed up now.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

Bitcoin will always be on the first place among cryptocurrencies, and ether on the second. We are talking about capitalization.

I agree, though bitcoin and the first coin in the cryptocurrency world, but the wave is much more promising. I think bitcoin will soon not be the first coin, there are more tech coins.

Although bitcoin is not the best crypto technology as there are so many new cryptos out there with new features and technologies, but I think it is unlikely that replacing bitcoins will work. The bitcoin community is so big so you can see that through a lot of market fluctuations, bitcoin still stands firm and always holds the first place on the coinmarketcap. I believe that the market will recover soon and that is the opportunity of investors this year.

about these days waves turns two years old, bitcoin has not immediately become popular, but now is much more acceptable time for growth, but I'm not sure that it will happen, taking into account the general state of the market

Waves is also good but it cannot beat Bitcoin in many ways. There are certain rumors about Waves that it was abandoned totally for years now so I might not be interested in investing into Waves. I'll just choose Bitcoin since I find it more promising than Waves.

bitcoin is the most famous crypto currency in the world and that is the one and inmportant feature of it, wave is not as common as bitcoin and on it are no longer common coins at a low price. The wave has great opportunities, but bitcoin is the head of the chapter on which other coins are aligned, and if the cue ball is used then many coins will be asked Cheesy

waves is very powerful blockchain where we can develop  new coins through waves blockchain but waves is no comparison with bitcoin

you true waves can't compare with bitcoin
waves compare with ETH still lost
maybe only compare with ETC, NXt or xcp counter party, same with waves open token system service

I would not think of Waves as a BTC's rival - they're in different categories, Waves may become a rival only in distant future.

It seems to be very difficult for waves to replace bitcoin positions and to shift other coins under bitcoin. Since bitcoin appears first and famous, people will be more confident in first appearing and already be falling in love with bitcoin development. Waves may not be able to provide benefits to customers as bitcoin provides benefits to its customers.

And why do you think Waves is better? I actually see Dash as a serious competitor

2018 you can see WAVES POWER !
The waves allow you to create custom tokens, which means you can launch your own cryptocurrency. You can also decentralize trades and crowdfunding, for integrating fiat currency gates like USD / EUR / CNY right in your wallet.
