I never considered WAVES as a serious competitor to Bitcoin. It's not so strong project to think that WAVES will ever replace bitcoin. But WAVES can be considered as a competitor for ETH.

Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency.  1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin.  I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD.  Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives.  Usually the first coin people buy.  It's time for a new coin to take over, some day.  I think Waves is the best!

That is great. Now tell the exchanges to have pairs of almost any coin against waves and low withdrawals fees and then it will make sense to me to have more waves. BTW, not giving much in lease at the moment.
the two coins is uncomparable so theres no need to make competition upon those
coins.and besides they have different potentials and project.but i like waves too and im holding
some coins but still bitcoin is what i trusted most thats for sure.

It is never a question for me, when I buy an alt, whether it is versus Bitcoin or not. I always only (now anyway) buy an alt that I want to hold for long term.

Bitcoin will soon cease to be used for calculations and only for accumulation. As gold or platinum. And waves this is a beautiful coin I had before, and now I'm even more to use it), Especially on the platform waves in 2018 will be a lot of ICO.

I have not seen that this year the wave will be more important than bitcoin, it seems because it is still a lot to avoid using wave and I really avoid to transactions with the wave other than I see the transaction is still a bit less simple.

i want Bitcoin but if it gets hundred of thousand per bitcoin the effect of transaction will getting slow cause many will use it and the transaction fee will get  expensive imagine if you buy $2 of coffee then you'll need to pay of $30 of transactions so right now i will choose Waves.

With 1000 transactions in one second Waves can gain momentum against Bitcoin as a currency. Bitcoin is a indicator for every altcoin just like gold againts other currencies. So we will always need Bitcoin to guide other altcoins. But becoming a common used currency like Usd, Eur or else, i think faster transactions and lower fees are more important. So in the future waves, ethereum or others become the main currency in this world.

Both are good but i go in bitcoin of course because it can move in different ways like you can use it in any transaction waves is good but not like bitcoin that can convert easily in fiat another thing the price of btc is so volatile or inconsistent but still it so high compare in any altcoins.I think in the future some altcoins can be similar to bitcoin but for now that's hope only.

Bitcoin is loosing its positions - both technical and brand. New technological coins gain more attraction. If BTC technology is not improved over certain period of time - BTC will totally loose its dominance.
And Waves is actually among those new technological coins that gain dominance))

I dont see  reason to compare these two coins, they have different goals, bitcoin is digital gold, and waves are a coin with its idea.

Popular is already attached to bitcoin so waves class will be very difficult to compete with bitcoin in terms of price and popularity ,,,,

I agree with you. WAVES are a very weak coin compared to bitcoin. I can not even compare these projects, because it's ridiculous. Bitcoin will always be king among the crypto currency.

Already a lot of decent currencies, but bitcoin their parent and whether we want it or not, it will always be so. And you can use what is convenient. I like the etherium, neo, waves and some others.

I'm really tired of how inconsistent of BTC right now.
I'm also tired of it but that's how the market of bitcoin moves. If bitcoin is inconsistent, there will a domino effect and if the market is in correction then for sure every coin is affected. And in this case if you are really tired of how inconsistent bitcoin is. Before you started your investment with bitcoin, have you ever knew it that it has an unstable price?
