Waves vs. Bitcoin

Well wave is a good coin that has done quite OK but I feel bitcoin is still better than it

Of course bitcoin, the waves doesn't become a balanced opponent for bitcoin. Waves are still very far from approaching bitcoin, and investors will prefer bitcoin rather than waves.

Waves coin can not measure up to bitcoin standard from many point of view.  Bitcoin protocol is solid and the payment system of bitcoin is second to none in Cryptocurrency.  Waves is not as secure as bitcoin and does not  scale like bitcoin!

WAVES DEX isn't used much, even the TIDEX that they created solely for the WAVES token. Although WAVES can potentially be a good investment, it can't match even with ETH. I have read they are preparing for their Smart contract which could really be a good side of WAVES, if you have invested to waves earlier 2016, you must have been a great holder.

Invest a small amount, always good to diversify. But i wouldn't invest more the 10% of your capital until waves show some DEX user growth or until leasing gives not laugable returns. They could go really big next year, but so could a bunch of other projects as well.

I think bitcoin will remain one of the popular investment places in the next few years because with price movements that tend to increase significantly makes someone automatically use it to get profit every time and the economy becomes safer later.

Bitcoin is the King of all cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is also the first cryptocurency studied by humans.

Waves is just Altcoins who is on the top 50 coinmarketcap list. Pllatform Waves is also rarely a success for an ICO.

I personally wouldn't compare Bitcoin and Waves. Waves is a platform coin, so I think it can be better compared to other platform coins like Ethereum or Icon. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is used mostly for a store of value.

Both coins are good. Bitcoin is of great interest to investors. Bitcoin is a  world famous cryptocurrency.
I think A lot of interesting and promising crypto coins. Waves are one of them.

I am also sure that, because Bitcoin is the main crypto that will always be a prima donna of investors so this coin has the potential to move forward in the future. but it's not as easy as imagined, so we have to wait patiently.

This is a old thread. And it's easy to recognize from the type of the subject. In mid or late 2017 waves was a great choice for many people many people was talking about it. Many saying that it will replace ethereum as soon as possible. I know waves is a very good project but when it comes to practical use it's hard for them. I don't know why neo has the better position than them at the moment. It's really a funny comparison when it comes between waves and Bitcoin. They both are not in same page they are two very different project, they have huge difference in market cap, popularity and also in use case. Hope that waves will do something good as soon as possible and gain some market cap and some popularity amo g general people.

Many new coins begin to compare to bitcoin and to promise them success if at those the speed of transaction or confirmation or the commission less than at bitcoin is specified. But as a result the bitcoin remains on the first place 9 years.
