Waves has improved recently with the new site and interface however I still don't really like it as a platform for launching coins I think using Ethereum network and having ERC-20 tokens is a much better way to go. Can't see any obvious comparisons between Waves and Bitcoin so I would stick with BTC as being the better coin of the two to own.

These two coins with their pros and cons.Quick translation of the transaction is a wave, Bitcoin is of great interest to investors. My opinion-wave to short-term investments, bitcion for the long-term investment.

digital currencies market It is quite impossible for waves to replace bitcoin. it is not even right to compare because it is unfair to waves. The waves project can be a success. it compete with other coins.

I think Bitcoin will always be the first crypto in the foreseeable future, the reason why there are so many types of encryption currency just because of the flaw of BTC exist. All of the altcoins are used to make up for the defect of Bitcoin, not to replace it.

last years charts waves more valued from bitshares but today bitshares beats waves. i think waves can not be an opponent versus bitcoin or ethereum. the devs wastes time very easily.

Well, i can say that its only a season of altcoins making terribly high to the market with your opponent to compare is bitcoin that is impossible to surpass making its profitability is concerned. Updates of waves now a days are very far from its value in today's market  https://coinmarketcap.com.

Waves is an open-source blockchain platform, developed, marketed, and operated by Waves Platform AG, that allows users to launch their own custom cryptocurrency tokens. Waves uses trusted gateways to issue blockchain tokens backed by fiat money and digital currencies for use on its own platform while Bitcoin is a type of digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank. In short wave is a platform but bitcoin is a money. They have a different characteristic in the world of crypto. I rather choose Bitcoin than wave.

Until now bitcoin is still strong although for a longer transaction, and the speed of waves is undoubtedly, but for this case, bitcoin is still superior.

I go for bitcoin Due to the fact I suppose he has the top infrastructure, a good ability and also much stronger for a longer transaction. His speed of waves is absolutely remarkable no doubt. I prefer bitcoin.

I have no idea that this year the wave will be more imperative than bitcoin, it appears it is still a great deal to abstain from utilizing wave and I truly stay away from to exchanges with the wave other than I see the exchange is still somewhat less straightforward.

It's unreasonable to compare Waves and Bitcoin, they do not compete with each other. Each of this cryptocurrencies has its purpose and the price of Waves largely depends on the price of Bitcoin.

Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency.  1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin.  I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD.  Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives.  Usually the first coin people buy.  It's time for a new coin to take over, some day.  I think Waves is the best!
Completely disagree with you! I believe that the Waves have no future! (as in most Russian projects). There are a lot of scammers on their base!
But you are right that Bitcoin is really outdated and soon it will be replaced by more advanced altcoyins (but Waves are not one of them)

I still believe in WAWES and I'm holding my coins even if I really don't like their decentralized exchange because it simply has too poor liquidity for coins...

Well that could be nice. But I think it is that fast because it doesn't have much load yet. But when investors would be going for it I think it will be just like bitcoins. The complexity of the calculations depends on how much coins are used. The greater the coin's volume used the longer it takes to process transactions. With respect to popularity I think bitcoin got the upper hand and thus will still be preferred. But will just wait and see if waves can be on top.

Why are we comparing these two coins? Both of them are really good coins and have their peculiarity, but I don't see the need of them being compared together. The advantages that bitcoin has over waves is one that cannot be overlooked. This comparison in my opinion might be considered unfair.

if I personally would definitely prefer Bitcoin, because the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase faster and give me profit compared to waves.
