1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it

If i have a 1 ethereum in my wallet I will hold it until the price go back to $1000 then I will convert it to usd and start learning the trading at this stage most altcoin are in red blooded situation you should stay in ethereum and wait until it recover before buying any altcoin but its depend on you if you want to stay or buy some potential altcoin in the market.

Just hold it man and keep on buying/adding the coin amount of yours or maybe buy a portion of alts from your fiat. That is much better if you don't want to lose the most valuable coin you have. If you are not sure in one thing, better don't pursue.

Etherum is a good coin and holding it is one of the best ideas there possibly can be as it will grow in value with time. However being that you only have one ETH , ID advice that you take advantage of the market situation and invest in good quality alts, available cheaply in the market, there are. The original post was last december when the market conditions were basically like being on another planet.
Back then, I would have suggested buying something.
Definitely not Verge, but there were numerous coins that could have brought quick profit before the crash started happening in January.

Now, here we are with a stable price of btc being in the 6000s.
Insane isn't it?

Now, I would definitely just hodl on to it.
We don't see any increase in value at all accross the board.
When btc pumps a bit, you see some alts jumping 15% (which is huge nowadays), but then we see those same alts dropping 15 - 20% when btc drops too.

If you want to buy alts, then I would put absolutely new money into it and buy them instead of using your existing crypto to purchase.

I suggest you buy some alts with it. And more then one. Use it to buy atleast 5 different types of alts. Go for the one that are low price but stable. I mean their market share is good but their price is cheap. That can help you gain maximum profits because these are the coins that go big once the bitcoin rally starts.

For me, altcoins can give more profit than the same ether,but the ether is more reliable,so you see for yourself what to invest in and what to buy,since you are responsible for your energy(money), I recommend always the risks to delegate, share, as strelnet, you will have a good profit

You never a 100% sure which low key coin will grow up. With a ETH you made a safe choice. I think the best thing to do would be hodling your ETH till the prices will go up and then, if you want, you can split your profit into other projects which you think might raise up. Risky, but can pay out.

Be careful before buying altcoin. Many projects have only a gorgeous white paper. When investing in a project, whether the project has an active and powerful community is the best Bao of the coin.

If I were, I would buy altcoin more. Can I play for day trading. You can buy Neo, Stellar or Ripple. I think profits will also be more optimally. Than you hodl ethereum only 1 for a long time.

Dear sir, Good day with our community. Already we have known the reliability of ETH and now ETH is standing at the top level of the alts coin and in here you can get profit but if you can buy two or three reliable alts coins then you will get more profit than ETH. Because portfolio investment is too much profitable as well as secured than one Investment. Your opinion is too much logical because XVG is taken a positive place in crypto traders mind.

I figure purchasing alt is the best thing I did before and even now, numerous coins are in the plunge and prime time for purchasing. There are a few coins which didnt achieve its plunge point and sitting tight for the pump now.

It's not much but you can hodl half and diversify the other half, in some of the others currencies of the top 10, remember that it's advisable to diversify in average currencies so you don't have all your portfolio invested in a single coin, besides you wouldn't lose much either, you can even invest in some ICO that looks interesting.
