This is a security issue.  I should be able to choose a nick without it identifying to the public what my username is.  People could easily build a list of usernames from these useless announcements.

There is now account settings page where you can change your nickname and enable two-factor authentication.

we have no fees yet, so ref system doesn't make any sense yet. but i'll add that to the feature list todo

Fantastic work! I was just talking to the CGB team yesterday about starting a hybrid exchange to meet in the middle of BTC-e who does not add coins and Cryptsy who adds lots of coins. Something in the 15-20 coin range. Sounds like you guys plan on something along these lines...?

I would love to see a brief write up on the OP of the mission/vision for this exchange!
