Unfortunately the ethereum is losing more and more value. Market volumes are quite low. Although bitcoin is not as strong as before, ethereum is not likely to catch up to him at the moment  maybe we see ethereums reach in 2021 |

even vitalic themselves don't seem to want them, I think they will experience a lot of problems if eth values are comparable to bitcoin, the pressure from various directions and the government will be more difficult and they are not capable enough to accommodate that.
But potentially, ethereum can actually increase value quickly, but they seem to be waiting for momentum and remain comfortable under bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a huge demand in the market that is only in 2017, there were more than 12 million Bitcoin wallets in the Blockchain but Ethereum is only 1.2 million. Ethereum brings in competition with other altcoins especially from trading perspective. All cryptocurrencies support Bitcoin but it has no purpose to compete with it. Bitcoin is like a main source of every altcoins.

Ethereum will have to gain at least 1502% of where it is right now to reach where Bitcoin is now (assuming at current coin supplies). So, going by my extinct Ethereum will probably never reach to the price where Bitcoin is.

This shows that bitcoin is above everything. And even though ethereum's achievement itself is already very good, it is hardly close to bitcoin. Maybe it's better to say that ethereum competes with other altcoins because their distances are not as wide and as far as bitcoin. They are altcoins, close to each other. I can say that bitcoin is a different entity as a cryptocurrency. |
