I just doubled my NCT. I am just so done watching market bleed. At least I can just buy nct and hold it for a long time. If I am going to lose money, I want to lose it on something I believe at this point

Some very good tips, though I am not sure whether keeping private keys offline makes sense for everyone.

Also I think a paragraph about phishing should have been included, as you all know there are many kinds of creative phishing attempts

Ledger works like that. Storing private keys offline. There are also risks surrounded by that. Meaning losing the keys means losing all the crypto coins. No way to revert it.

Keeping and placing your keys offline in strategic places is paramount, I don't think having just one store place makes sense or is even safe, chances are you may loose it... I wrote down my keys have some other measures and places too I placed my keys top so it doesn't slip away any time... The security of our token is very much reliant on us... Polyswarm should find a storage system built for Investors too something like a ledger but safer

Hello Sozialtourist, i think what Hendobox meant by saying he doubled his NCT is that he purchased an equivalent amount of token of what he purchased earlier via the just finished  ICO.

If polyswarm finds a solution to keeping our coins safe, that would be great. At the moment it is a bit tedious with all the keys, passphrases and backup files.

Is this official now? I have not seen any exchange announcement till now. Could you please post the official confirmation link? I think they will go for many big exchanges for sure.

A great conclusion to the ICO and I'm very happy with the amount raised.

I agree idex is very simple to use and is also one of my favorite exchanges which exchanges do you guys think it will hop on? i prefer it would go on Kucoin if it is possible i am not a fan of hitbtc.

My knowledge about it is limited too but what i learnt from those close to me that bought sometimes this year haven't made any of such complaints of being able to store only some particular amount of coins and not the whole, by the way polyswarm should look into creating their own hardware wallet with time too

That's what I call a FOMO: Over 1mio in the last 24h, there are probably some fear to miss the train :-) Still you have 5 hours, then it is too late

It happens from time to time. Right before an ICO is finished you can observe a huge increase in new money coming in. It seems, some people tend to wait until it's almost to late to make their decision.

The downside to this is limited bonus just before the ICO finishes, however; you are right - alot of investors aren't sure hence why it's a last minute rush.

I think you're better off finding an exciting project with real life solving problems and backing it from the beginning, pre-ico . you get the most for your money usually with an added bonus (pre-ico)

Are you implying that this project doesn't solve real life problems? You would be wrong about that. It does solve real life problems in a very smart and sophisticated way.

You can say that again, the project does have solutions to real life problems, hence the supports that are coming from several avenues, unless one has not been following this thread and don't believe that cyber-security is a threat, so i do believe in the concept of this project

Usually the big whales or bounty hunters try to dump at the beginning and scare people who don't have a lot of experience so that they panic sell and later on the whales can have a lot of profit.

That's the case if people keep up the dumping after the whales dumped. It can also be a risky game if the whales dump and can't buy in cheaper later.

Anyone can list a buy order on a dex for any token as it’s smart contract based if theirs a contract number for a coin anyone can create a buy order.

In this case it’s probably some shmucks placing buy orders hoping to dupe some unwitting investors to dump their Nct for some rediculously low value once trading starts and then will resist it well above ico price

Pretty generous amount considering the current situation the crypto markets are in and how volatile they are.
