On April 30, 2018, the alpha version will be released. This will be an MVP (minimum viable product). But some things are already being implemented. and only 31 days later they already want to publish the beta. These are pretty ambitious plans

Yes, is obvious they are really working hard behind the curtains, expect a massive lump of investors joining this project very soon, as many investors are looking forward or tend to test what they intend to invest before investing and once the alpha test becomes successful, we all know what will happen

Even though I am kind of aware of most of the things about the project. But, still it is very interesting to look again with different perspectives. Polyswarm is definitely unique in its own way. I am looking forward for the next steps.

Why is the coin supply so high for this project? I think 2.5 billion is way too much.

It's the only thing that is making me hesitate to invest.

Well, different ICOs come with different amount of capital needed for investment because projects vary, i recently saw an ICO with 6 billion as the initial startup capital, so the above figure is not strange, unless you're new to ICOs, no offence, just trying to clarify you on that

This is the way i see it may not be the case though, i think that project with a huge potential to reach a very wide reach talking of billion of people worldwide will need a billion supply to service its objectives and knowing the potential of the crypto space in the nearest future creating alot of supply is not out of place, this may be it but like i said i may not be correct

I understand that you think it is bad that it is high but if the project is very good then even if the coin supply is high you can still make a lot of profit out of it if the project is bad it will all go to waste good to know that polyswarm a great project that will reach the moon.

Many people actually believe that the higher the total supply the lower the value which may be true in some instance but not in all generality there are some project with as low as 1m total supply and are still doing pretty bad in terms of value so it boils down to what the project has got to offer

Exactly. A low supply doesn't always mean a high value. And a huge supply during the ICO is put into perspective when you see it that way that you just get more tokens for the same amount of money.

Cool share man. I am only worried the whole drop in cryptos would impact the sale. The whole market is suffering now even good project are having a hard time. I hope the recovery would be soon I think this would be worth seeing it in action.

yes, I'm one of these people :-) the video helped me understand polyswarm better. Otherwise, I like to read white papers and more information about a project, but at the beginning I was having a hard time to understand Polyswarm, even though it really interested me. but it's getting better:-)

yes, I'm one of these people :-) the video helped me understand polyswarm better. Otherwise, I like to read white papers and more information about a project, but at the beginning I was having a hard time to understand Polyswarm, even though it really interested me. but it's getting better:-)

Lol you bet it is better then those tldr posts. I think generally speaking the concept behind polyswarm is easy to convey given it is quite simple in the general sense. I mean without going into technical stuff it is straight forward to grasp.

A long whitepaper, even if technically perfect and very detailed, can scare some people away. I must admit, sometimes I just don't want to go through dozens of pages of a whitepaper to check if the project is interesting to me. Such a short video is much better to arouse interest.

Same. Sometimes when i read a whitepaper i don't understand it by making this type of videos it is easier to understand. It is short and quick. I must advise you guys also to read the whitepaper if you want the full details. Because it is all there.
