From the looks of things other cryptocurrencies are really rising this year
Look at Ripple it is second on the marketcap

I believe 2018 is the year of altcoins. Even if almost all altcoins are dropping since last month. I believe that they will rise again and grow even more than last year.

If you want to judge that with the dramatical daily decrease of market capitalisation it hasn't been a good year so far for cryptocurrency market at large  who knows quarter 2 of 2018 might be a good one.

The market and investors are both getting matured and this is a good sign for both Bitcoin and Altcoins.

Yes I agree, this market dip is short term. This will be the year of alts, with all the new people and large investors entering the market it will be a big year for crypto

Yes it will be also the year for altcoins. Right know it seems that it is falling apart but i think that it is just normal.  This year also have many altcoins that have a great potential to be successful that will help the market of crytoworld boom.

2017 is not the year for altcoin, because most of the people bought Bitcoin and made the Bitcoin value pumped until the end of last year instead of altcoin had a bearish time in 4 months.
So, you can not call 2018 is also a year for altcoin, if it happens, this is the first year for altcoin.

Time is passing and ripple is 3d one and never been 2nd one as far as I am aware of. By the way, so far 2018 is terrible for most of the ALTS, but good times are ahead. HODL or SODL depends on you

I hope this year will be good year for altcoins, either bitcoins or altcoins they must complement. But eventhough this is the good year for altcoins it seems that bitcoins will be vanish in the market and other coins will die. No matter what happen this year i think bitcoins and altcoins must go higher so that the people that using altcoins and bitcoins wil be much more happy.

I suppose that this year will be the time, when smaller altcoins that are less known now will go to the market and play an important role there. As for big and famous alts, I guess 2018 can become a year of NEO and Ethereum.

Most likely, significant growth and new highs will be closer to the autumn. I do not believe in repeating the history of last year, just so the logic of the market suggests.

Good year for alts and will only get better we are already seeing some well established coins bucking the trend when btc dips. Still clearly linked however in time confidence will keep neo and ETH moving in their own direction.

It's definitely a good year, the prices were reset giving everyone a new chance to get into the game. If you didn't pick up some cheap coins then you only have yourself to blame, it won't be like this forever but you can guarantee that it will go back up! We started on the right foot so yeah, Altcoins will do great this year, same goes for the ICO. The ones that will be successful will see a greatly price increase.

Hopefully that time will come so many of us will benifit of this, it is nice to make now an investment because i think this is time of altcoins this year. When i see the market cap all are green so i guess the value now are starting to increase.

Well for me i would go for neo and etherium for my top solid coins but don't expect to have an exponential massive gains well i am not closing any doors into that discussion but if the total market capitalization of crypto world will have a massive growth even the top solid coins will still have that kind of gains. If you want to go for big time the one that can give you massive and exponential gains go for the Ico solid coins or the one's that is newly listed like thekey and bluzelle they are both performing good even with this kind of market.
