Oh, I think it just added to the extra work, the time and the fuss. Now we have to check whether it is necessary to do KYC because they can not charge tokens.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I totally disagree with this. It is very dangerous for us bounty hunters to give such personal information to bounty managers. Our personal information can be used for fraud. In this industry, we should be anonymous. Yes, I get the idea behind it. They require KYC to determine who is using fake or multiple accounts. But  I don't want to risk my identity. Another thing I dislike with bounty programs nowadays is that they will announce the requirement for KYC at the end of the bounty. I put my effort and time to it, so I have no choice but to comply with the requirement to gain profit.

Project developers want to protect themselves from bots, but you need to take care of your security and not send your data to unknown people. I avoid such projects.

It is pretty stang as for me. Why don't they offer bounty hunters do sign some contract before they start advertising their campaign? This is how bounty hunters will be secured from scams, because they will be able to claim their tokens at the end of campaign.

Perhaps I am excessively prudent and paranoid, but in no case I send my data to an unknown entity: who know who is behind them?
Who knows how your data will be used?
Do you have any idea what bad guys can do in the black web with your passport and you personal data?
And, last but not least, they'll connect your personal data to your bitcoinintalk account, and this is another very unpleasant thing.
May be when we'll have a kind of control of the crypto market, I could accept.
For the moment, I rest my case.

I think certain forms of KYC are good because of the plethora of cheaters that are coming into the bounties. The cheaters are ruining the bounties and making it harder for the hard working and honest folks to get their fair share for their work rendered, so in some effects the KYC is good to weed out all of the cheaters who are stealing everyone Else'sbread and butter. If being so called anonymous gives you the right to steal and cheat, then anon is not good. We have privileges in this world but also responsibilities and stealing frm others is NOT anyone's right. Of course the kyc has also got to be logicl as well and not for them to ask for too many things to make it cumbersome.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
Hello, I believe that this innovation is the right decision of the companies, since many bounty hunters create a lot of fake accounts and due to this they get more reward than they deserve, and the KYC process will simply stop these actions from the bounty of hunters

Looks like we have another dope award to give out.  Lets bite our nose to spite our face.  Are you guys serious?  What region of the world are you guys from.

If you want to pass kyc anyone (besides maybe the poster above) can easily beat that system.  Its all public info.

After reading some of the posts in here you can see the bankers are already winning.  These cannot be real people making these comments.  I wonder where some of you guys are from.  You must have had dictators beating you down from birth.  Now I see why America stomps on all you guys and you sit there and take it.  The powers that be will run stuff forever until we thin the herd of sheeple.

I especially love the guys that want full background checks to protect them from the big bad cheaters.  May your chains rest lightly guys.  There is a reason you will never make it.

And what happens to the documents we send? Are they deleted after verification or stored in some kind of database? I have never seen the answer to these questions

Demanding KYC to pass from the participants in the signature campaign is not based on any objective necessity.
We do not have any financial relations with ICO, do not invest our funds, only advertises this campaign. it is superfluous to require additional identification data from us, let alone copies of their identity documents.
This may require investors, and not from the participants in the campaign of generosity.

It isnt a development its morelikely a regulation, that we must not support because our privacy would be compromised and or identities might be sold to the public or worst to the cindicates.KYC with ICOs are acceptable but to the bounty hunters? Nahh. it is unecessary for the bounty hunters because we just want to have some stakes from the ICO and we literally didnt invest to it.

Thats not acceptable, why we need to undergo with KYC verification too ? our job is to promote these ICOs and we arent part of the ICO,bounty hunters shouldnt required to do this because we arent investors,we are morelikely promoters which is completely different to each other,if they want us to send our IDs they should have sent their first.

On the one hand it is good to eliminate any bots , on the other hand they probably can do with our documents . Therefore it is necessary to carry out it with care

I express my protest against these KYC for bounty hunters, because I just do not understand why they are needed. After all, bounty hunters do not actually pay any money to developers. Therefore, most likely the developers introduce this process, only because they did not understand themselves.

This is a big problem which I really worry about. Not only KYC for bounty hunters, but also ICO investors. Sometimes I want to participate in an ICO, But I don't invest because I don't know what will happen to my documents.

The bounty would not be 100% safe now because of that KYC information which can be used as illegal. Its not good to use KYC since we are on internet and we cannot give our information just like that. We are doing bounty for the sake of project and not to give our personal information anonymously. I hope it should be stopped since it is not good for those bounty hunters.

KYC is an important way to verify the authenticity of an investiror and a way to prevent bots or people with false profiles from receiving rewards. I just do not agree that airdrops ask for KYC, since the value of the bounties is too low for such a procedure

Honestly, if an ICO project wants to KYC, that project needs to has the license from the SEC to does that, because the information and face of investor are keeping by which ICO the investor joined. It is a biggest problem to keep safe the information of user if this project get attack from hacker.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

This may cause more hackers and scammers to be active again. The main idea of cryptocurrency is its privacy and freedom of finances. KYC basically getting personal information ffrom the people and securing identification from them. For me, I am not into KYC because my personal informtion may exposed to the whole world,
