I believe that it is the right decision to undergo personal verification, and there is nothing to be extremely dangerous in this, anyway nobody will be able to use your data with fraud, it's up to you to decide whether to provide information about your data or not, but nevertheless I believe in the sincerity of many projects and their prospects.

Avoid, new precedent trying to be set, the more people the give in, then you'll have to give you info out for every single airdropped/bounty out there. It's very dangerous for you to trust these non-reputable individuals with your information and for the future of cryptos as a whole, yet no one is discussing this.
You can blame Polymath for this, they don't want to work harder filter to filter puppets, so instead they want your ID.
Edit: There is probably nothing we can do to stop this, because the vast majority of people trying to do airdrops are very likely to hand over their info without a second thought. This has major repercussions, some of the worst repercussions we will see ever in crypto.
The best thing you can do if you're reading this, is to not give in to these new information whores, who are more than likely to flip your IDs on the darkweb for a profit.
I dont think there is a problem about kyc in bounty signature. It maybe the strategy of the developers and managers to prevent the farmers from earning because kyc is difficult to pass and you need so many ID that is qualified.

I think it is a good idea. KYC is the right thing, because it excludes all the bag people and bots. It is real

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
This KYC is not mandatory to bounty hunters and yet they are asking KYC to us. I'm thinking that they are using KYC to minimize abusers of the campaign from enrolling alt accounts. But I'm not agree with this regulation to us being a bounty hunters, we only get small share from them which is not worth to provide our personal identity.

It's a very bad idea, since the bounty hunters are not an investors ,i don't see any reason why they should go through kyc before they can get paid for work done.

I am not a big fan of KYC for bounty campaigns. Because I am not really sure that I want to share my private details with some company. There are some companies that I trust and believe in too. But some of them, asking KYC to receive about 30$, I believe it is ridiculous and someday and someone will make bounty campaign to collect a lot of private data like passports, address, residence, phones, wallet address. And it scares me

I don't think that KYC for bounty hunters is something terrible. I just don't like when projects introduce it after the bounty campaign ends. If at the start it was mentioned, then i have no problem with it, because it's fair.

I don't know see any reason why kyc is necessary for bounty participants but so far i haven't participated in campaign that requires kyc. I think this is because there's a lot of multiple accounts that try to cheat the bounty campaign but it is also easy to bypass this as they can borrow their friend identity to get the bounty reward.
Some ICO need KYC because they following regulation on that country. I think KYC right now is common thing in crypto bussiness because government prevent criminal action on this bussiness.

Yes, for bounty it's completely inconvenient. I'm sure 99% of the campaigners would object, but ... There is an important situation - one person should have only one account. KYC can be useful for checking the number of accounts for one person. And here I vote for the existence of such a check. Depends on what kind of money at stake. If it's a penny - there's no need to deal with KYC once again.

I strongly disagree about this issue of KYC for bounty hunters, why? KYC means Know your customer so it means it is for customers/investors not for the bounty hunters. Bounty hunters are just advertisers so they dont have to issue as kyc in order to get paid.

I would avoid any bounty that asks for KYC because it just does not make any sense to have to give away personal information for 100 or 200 dollars. It is not worth it.

I think it's a good idea to avoid revealing IDs for projects that do not trust, must be selective, and explicitly understood when disclosing IDs.

If that's ICO's regulation, I as a bounty hunter can only follow the rules. but the bounty organizer must from the beginning announce the rule before the bounty begins.

I think this is a great way to ensure payment of tokens to the right people. by doing kyc first we know who the customer who has joined to join the project. in order to avoid payment errors so that tokens are used for criminal acts for example

As a bounty hunter I am not a customer, participants of the bounty do not invest their money and the amounts are small so is just overkill really to KYC them

On the one hand KYC is good idea because there are a lot of bots take part in bounties, but on the other there are a lot of documents which could be bought on the Internet. I think that we need a project which could solve this problem.

I think it is good. so there will no more cheater and multiple account join. but some times it is bad, because the developer ask me passport and bill but I don't have.

kyc is required but when the developer asks for a passport, I do not have a passport, but if kyc using ktp I have, or a driver's license.

I agree to this, as you can imagine if someone uses dozens of accounts to participate in a bounty? that is very bad. and harming other members

Actually, it is very good with using KYC however KYC is only used for people who invest in ICO. So if it's used for bounty participants I think it is unnecessary. Because it is also very risky and it's what we give is personal data whether it is safe or not we don't know.
