Hello mga kababayan ko,

I've setup a bitcoin forum site para sa ating mga pinoy.

punta kayo sa http://pinoybitcointalk.org and hope magkasama sama tayo dun Smiley

Ayus itong initiative, kabayan!

salamat kabayan. cge gagawin nating SSL para mas secure and site. hope to see you all there  Smiley

Anyone interested in a group buy for Yubikeys? gagawin ko na lang sa pinoy forum, if ever. I plan on ordering maybe 1000 yubikeys, from yubico. So meron bulk discount. These will not be compatible with Mt. Gox, but you can use it for anything else.

In the mean time, yung mga interesado sa asic chips, bumili na kayo sa thread ko.

looks interesting kabayan.

hope to see you all there guys  Smiley

And btw, aside sa mga relevant contents, marami pakong balak ilagay na mga features doon like putting up a live "ticker" about the current bitcoin exchange rate (BTC/USD) and since Im mining also, I have plans to put up a mining pool soon.

kita kita nalang tayo doon  Wink

Count me in sir dabs. Looking forward to make an investment on mining.

The group buy has started. One fellow pinoy has already ordered 240 chips. We need to reach maybe 1000 or 2000 chips then the other countries will start contributing towards the 10,000.

2. These chips do 282 mh/s (mega hash per second) each.

So what if may defect sa chips? and what if palpak yung nag assemble? So theres really no guarantee.

I currently have an unused pci-e slot on my mobo but it's being covered by the currently installed card; hence my need for an extender to free up space.

I've seen them sold on cablesaurus but don't know if they can be found locally.  Undecided

Chips do the same work for less power. Also most likely the chips will be assembled in quantities of 10 or more per working miner. So we are looking at maybe 2 to 3 GIGAHASH per unit.

Also, compare the price of the video card to the price of the chips. You can also estimate the cost of assembly and the finished product.

Example, I got 20 chips, that will cost 1.72 BTC. The assembly by Burnin for this is 100 EURO. Convert all of that to pesos and we are looking at PHP 14,000.00 for a miner that does 5 to 6 GH/s.

Chips will be tested before delivery to us. Yung pag assemble, eh, that's a risk we take. While there is no guarantee, just do the research sa mga open source projects regarding these chips. Marami. Meron nasa Germany, meron nasa Thailand, meron nasa Indonesia.

I see. And if thats the case, eh malayo nga ang deperensya.

pre configured miner? for litecoins? mukhang wala pako naririnig na tungkol jan other than ASIC (which is a pre-configured miner for bitcoins btw).

So ang best bet mo parin for mining litecoins kabayan is "GPU mining rig" parin.

btw, I'm using GUIMiner for litecoin mining.

Hi mga boss/sir Dabbs. gusto ko po sana mag mina ng bitcoin, ngunit di ko po nakikitang magiging feasible pa ang GPU mining in the near future. FPGA mining will soon follow. ASIC will be the next generation mining. sa BFL ang hirap magintay. by the time dumating, baka may bago nanamang technology. so mga sir, pwede po ba ako makijoin sa group buy ng ASIC chips kahit wala akong bitcoin?

Regarding sa MtGox, I'm not sure about sa freezing policies nila.

That transaction was around 2 days ago.

may problema din kasi yung mtgox at yung ka tieup nila sa u.s (coinlab) ngayon aside sa ddos attacks nila lately. and yung mga accounts na na freeze is yung mga different accounts na nagla login uisng same ip. eitherway, hindi ok yun kasi what if magka pamilya kayo at iisa lang ung ip na ginagamit nyo?

diba ang point nga ng bitcoin kaya ito na imbento is to avoid hassles like these? so yung mga issues na ganyan ang medyo nakakatakot mag transact sa mtgox.

no wonder kaya tumaas ang trading volume ng btce lately is because of mtgox problems... nag switch na yung iba.
