What aspect of their service do you find most appealing? by being humble not comparing themselves to others I actually think competition is good for the consumers and makes for a healthy industry. Comparisons are all part and parcel of competition. For me, especially in the crypto coin world where you hear so much scams, the main thing I value is trustworthiness of a service. Second and third, in no particular order, will be ease of making transactions, and of course getting a better deal. But having complete confidence on who I'm parting my hard earned money to is second to none in importance for me.

There's is such a thing as customer loyalty. Good for coins.ph in this case. Btw, I am a neutral commenter. I have in fact yet to make any transaction with either one of them. Your unwavering support for coins.ph has given a lot of plus points to them, from my view.

Overall the process at coinxchange.ph is faster and more transparent to you. And of course, cheaper as well.
+1. The prices are fair, and order completions are very fast. I always have the bitcoins in my home wallet within a few minutes of buying them. Also, Ayakashi is a good guy, and very helpfully fixed my account problems. Coinxchange.ph is the best that I have dealt with. Right now, coinxchange.ph will sell you coins at 27,349. Coins.ph is selling at 29,010. That is 1700 pesos higher.

It has been six months since three of my friends and I decided to start a Bitcoin startup company, and about five weeks since we launched our first venture here in the Philippines called Bitmarket.ph. It has been one crazy, fast, and helluva fun ride so far. I just wanted to share our story. http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/27ougl/it_has_been_six_months_since_three_of_my_friends/(just sharing here, I am not that person or have anything to do w/ that site)

Hi bitcoiners ng pinas I'm henaputi. New member lang po, call me ena, jena, jena tuazon from pasay. Young & single mom. Looking for luck & support sa bitcoin since ang alam ko lang about d2 is to earn using my computer dahil d ako in linya with technical stuffs ng IT. I came from PTC sites but I lost my interest sa mga ganun kasi parang scam lang, months na binilang wala pa ring ROI, kung meron man sobrang baba din. Hoping to receive tips, guides or pwede ring donation as my starting capital hehe. Here's my fresh bitcoin address. I used coinbase (Hmmm okay lang po d2 ako nagpawallet? Sa mga guides n nababasa ko eto lagi ang preferred) 15eymbTzBVK61f8Ht9kXoVbcVJwdbmWLrP Good day sa lahat

Use your Bitcoin to buy Globe, Smart, and Sun prepaid load online!
Just go to BuyLoad.PH, type in your mobile number, and send your Bitcoin payment to the wallet address provided. You'll get exactly PHP25.00 worth of load for every PHP25.00 worth of Bitcoin--no service fees, and no registration required.
BuyLoad.PH is a coins.ph service. http://www.buyload.phLook, I am not really trying to promote coins.ph, and I will use coinxchange.ph if I need PHP for my BTC but I like to post any PH BTC related news in this topic edit 1:28PM: just bought some load, let's see how long it takes edit 1:38PM: they require 3 confirmations, and I think it's automatic/instant after that. They told me in mail they will require only 1 or 2 confirmations soon. Anyway, I was lucky to get confirmations very quick, so got my load in 10 minutes walking to the local sari-sari store is faster, but I'm lazy today also for "Airtime Top-up" / "Load Remittance" or however you call that, this can be great @Henaputi: begging is not appreciated on the forums at all. Asking for donations is def. begging too. Buy some BTC with peso or search for "btc faucets" (and earn almost nothing.) But asking for donations is just lame.

Mm I was just about to send some money to PH so I calculated the "Bitcoin remittance way" and the "Normal remittance way". 500 euro has 5 euro fee at worldremit.com considering they are offering almost monthly a 50% fee discount from 10 euro (I basically always use discount - today it's to celebrate independence day.) Kraken: 505/(462.7*1.002) = 1.089 Bitstamp: 505/((629.77/1.3597)*1.005) = 1.08489 1.089 bitcoin will get me PHP 28.465 on coinxchange.ph. My remittance service gives me PHP 28.975 and I can pay / receive the money at "M Lhuillier" literally in 1 minute I really want to use coinxchange.ph soon, but yeh in the end I want most for my money I will always calculate it based on the moment, so perhaps I will use it next time. Because sometimes the bitcoin way is cheaper This post is not critic at coinxchange.ph, considering they are offering the lowest prices by far that is great. It is just a realistic view to those saying " wooww remittance market so big, bitcoin great for that". Even though it's better than Western Union and Moneygram and stuff, there are also cheap remittance services. I am a huge bitcoin fan though, so I think over time it will get better (perhaps we will even have a real PH exchange in the future.)

[...] there are also cheap remittance services. [..]
Demand and supply. There is a huge market for Philippinos living abroad, so competition amongst remitters is higher and prices are lower. It is different for other countries.

Yeh true. Just wanted to share the current situation for me personally by calculating some real examples. Each situation is and will be different though by location, amount, current btc price, current exchanges, BTC usage, etc. I can imagine if one of these PH "exchanges" (well not real exchange, but you know), have 1000x more volume, they will be able to offer lower prices. Also perhaps when I only need to send a small amount the bitcoin way is cheaper, I don't know. Or when BTC price is rising the PH sites offer nicer prices, I don't know. Will calculate again when I need it

We are very happy to announce our first Philippines Bitcoin service called Bitmarket.ph Bitmarket.ph is a grassroots online marketplace, directory, and payment processor for entrepreneurs in the Philippines. Our initial target market is small local businesses, with an emphasis on the thousands of social media merchants and small business owners who have no access to traditional online payment methods like credit cards or PayPal due to the many barriers of entry. We want to connect them to the entire country and the world, using the Bitcoin payment network, to give them a fighting chance against a growing global marketplace. Besides an online marketplace for Filipino merchants, we aim to assist local non-profit organizations and charitable institutions as well. Bitmarket.ph is a company founded by a team of trusted local entrepreneurs with a great track record in multiple local industries with many diverse interests, employing hundreds of people between them. We believe Bitcoin will be an empowering tool for an emerging market like the Philippines. Even though a very large percentage of Filipinos have no access to traditional banking, about 40 million Filipinos have access to the Internet, and mobile phone penetration is almost 100%. There is a great potential for this market to bypass current traditional payment systems and make the leap to the next step, which we believe will be Bitcoin. Bitmarket.ph aims to be at the forefront of this leap forward. Merchants working with Bitmarket.ph right now have had some success by gaining recognition not just in the local Bitcoin community but in the worldwide Bitcoin community as well. Bunny Baker, a small cake-making business, started accepting Bitcoin as early as December of 2013. Mr. Delicious is an artisanal sundries merchant that sells gourmet bacon and cured meats and started accepting Bitcoin even though their shop is located only in a weekend market. Wingman Acacia Estates is the first restaurant in the Philippines to officially accept Bitcoin payments and hosted a very successful Bitcoin Philippine meet-up last May 10, 2014. We believe Bitcoin’s biggest potential in the Philippine market is to empower hard-working and enterprising Filipinos. Bitmarket.ph offers career opportunities in the most groundbreaking and game-changing industry in the world today; the digital currency revolution. We are building the foundations of a new economy alongside the brightest minds in the world of technology, marketing, and financial services. We are looking for dynamic and driven individuals with a passion for making a positive change in their community. At Bitmarket.ph, your educational or professional background will not matter much. What matters to us is where you want to go from here. We don't just want employees, we want partners. We don't want people who are contented with the status quo, we want fearless people who are not afraid to become movers and shakers. As part of the Bitmarket team, you will have ownership in what we build together, by virtue of our equity program. You will also have creative freedom to start your own projects as well. Join our team as we blaze the trail and create value for everyone's future. Bitmarket.ph is a venture of Satoshi Citadel Industries Inc. WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? Great compensation Meaningful equity and ESOP shares for our pioneer employees Standard benefits/13th month pay Performance bonuses Room for creativity and growth Full or partial Bitcoin compensation Flexible time Work with the brightest minds and the most awesome people A chance to be part of something bigger than all of us POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Marketing and Sales PHP/Web Developers UI/UX Designers CONTACT Bitmarket.ph Inc.
