I got banned from the Telegram yesterday cause I kept asking a question that they refused to answer. Everyone on their acts like a weird fanatic talking about "our companies great CEO" and that you must believe and have faith. I invested way more than I should have and now I can't even see updates from them.

I'll ask the same thing here as I did their so it can be ignored here. Why was only a small chunk of the coin spent on miners? The number of miners is now the limiting factor in getting payback. If they could only get 500 they should not have accepted so many investors into the project. They gave some weird response indicating they might get more later.

So far I've gotten 2 really unclear responses.

One of the Telegram members, who is probably just a member of the board under another name, said it's not the companies fault and the issue was the bitcoin price dropped so they couldn't get the things they needed. If they sat on the coin that was used to buy in and let the price drop instead of using the buy-in to get the mine going that's the fault of the company not the market.

One of the admins said they were not able to cash out the bitcoin to purchase the equipments in the originally intended amount due to legal reasons of not being KYC compliant. Did they never think of this before? They kinda acted like it was a shock to them. If this is the reason the original volume of mining is not gonna be up it's also the company's fault.

These people really need to get their act together. I knew the original approx 19 cent per coin a month was not gonna happen, but I was hoping for at least 8 cents with the change in bitcoin price. Now it looks like it will be less than a penny and the board is fully responsible for that not the market.

If they are holding off for the s11 purchases they should be clear about that and make it known when they will be up and running. The website still has calculations based on miners not being a limiting factor and needs to be updated tho they seem to have no intention of changing it.

Hi Michael,

I'm a fellow investor. If you believe in rising BTC price, relax, they will gradually ramp up their mining capacity with time. The main reason why they only bought 500 s9 was because they were expecting better miners by this time but that didn't happen and s9 profitability has reduced with the falling btc price. Investing all funds in s9 now would risk longevity of the project. They had a community vote on what to buy and apparently most said only spend a little now on s9 and wait for better miners to spend the rest, so that's what they're doing.

Their communication is rubbish, so ignore what most admin in their telegram say unless you hear it directly from the ceo malik. Their admin and dias seem to ban a lot of people so yeah most of the people left are ice rock fanboys. Personally, I ignore their telegram and just watch their announcement telegram channel or youtube channel.

I dont believe in Rock Mining ICO. I believe that it is a great SCAM. If you dont believe me, just ask someone who is in crypto for a long time.

OG Bitcoin Miner turned Proof of Stake Validator.
Maxed out Raspberry Pi 4 8GB at 120$ a Day Revenue with ~15K XTZ Bonds in Summer of 2021.
Looking at Proof of Stake systems all across the crypto ecosystem to expand operations.

The management team has integrity issues? The telegram said: no tokens will be held. Share 129 million tokens for free on a virtual account, giving 1x individuals a lasting look. Account funds. . . Wait. No announcements are made.

What I do not understand is the lack of communication of the team, I do not think it costs a lot to be clear with investors.  Undecided

Just did some calculations to find out the profit per token for a month of running. Let me know if anything is wrong or needs changing.

Total ASIC S9 purchased: 500
Revenue per day (from what to mine https://whattomine.com/asic ): $4
Total revenue per month with 500 Asic S9: 500*30.5*4 = $61,000

Tokens total: 15,724,272 ROCK2
Token holder profit share: 50%
Profit per token = (0.5*61,000)/15,724,272 = $0.0019 per month
Return on investment for paying $1 per token = 43.8 years (assuming the difficulty doesn't change)

This has been calculated with today's bitcoin price and difficulty, a change in that will affect the results. An additional assumption is that the electricity cost will be covered by the 20% allocation on expenses and they keep the 50% revenue going to token holders. At the moment only a small % of the token sales have been sold so there is more funding to spend on additional ASIC/miners.

Does anyone know how much was spent on purchasing the 500 S9s?

Does anyone know how much was spent on purchasing the 500 S9s?

AFAIK the decision was to spend about 10% of the investment capital ($8 mil) on the S9 miners, so I'm guessing they got them for around $800k, which seems about right taking into account that bitmain is probably desperate to sell out their remaining stock.

I'm hoping that better next gen miners are available soon, because those calculations don't fill me with hope.

Dear developers, maybe I'm an innovator or maybe my question will seem stupid, nome it seems you are late for a couple of years, while when all talk about the criticism of mining PoW, you go across the movement. Why create an improved bike when everyone is switching to a car? it's metaphorical.

Based on the math they've done Im worried 20% of the revenue won't be enough to outstrip the rise in difficulty in the long term. However, the acquisitions made in the remainder of the year should prove profitable for an extended period allowing some adjustment.
