I also agree with you. neo has a good development lately, it is proven that many ICOs currently use neo platfrom. neo also has a solid and good team. I think neo will be the toughest opponent ethereum

The most terrible competitor of ethereum is Bitcoin cash. The developers of bitcoin cash, in my opinion not a moment lost in thoughts on how to get around and become better. But it is better not to become likely, because Ethereum is the Creator of itself, and bitcoin cash is only a pathetic semblance of btc.crypto was only for those 2 coin, in the end when you invest on ico or make your money, it would through too both of that, by bitcoin or etherium itself.

Agree. NEO is far superior than Ethereum in terms of scalability and speed. With its consensus algorithm, it can process many more transactions per second than ETH, making it a greater alternative for those devs, startups, or companies looking into a larger audience for their dApps. Of course, NEO hasn't gained much traction yet in terms of ICOs, and dApps (when compared against Ethereum), but its time will come when people realize the true potential of this powerful smart contract platform.

As such, NEO can be considered a fierce competitor against Ethereum for years to come. Other similar smart contract platforms include: EOS, Cardano, Lisk, Qtum, aeternity, Rootstock, and Ethereum Classic, but only one shall prevail in the end. I believe that every smart contract platform would become used in the mainstream world, as they provide their own features and unique use cases. EOS will be very close to Ethereum in terms of development and innovation, but I believe that Ethereum will retain that second place in market cap for as long as cryptos exist. Just my opinion

Hey, best competitor and the most undervalued analog of ethereum nowadays is stratis platform, it solves all the issues ethereum faced such as scalability problems and offers sidechains in order not to effect main Chain in case e.g. 'kitties' again. Waves can also be named as competitors. I would not call EOS even a solid project, cause their network is based only on 21 Nodes running, that is just a joke. Neo has the same nodes problem, network is in hand of a few people, that is weird.

EOS is my favorite but I think NEO, Cardano, and ICON can do well too.NEO is good for now, but I don't believe they have the forward thinking vision required to dominate long term. Ethereum and NEO are kind of like AOL during the early internet days. EOS is soon to become the Google of blockchain tech. Just my opinion of course.

I think of the existence of NEO and EOS. NEO is considered as the Ethereum of China. EOS, however, also has a very promising concept likely the Ethereum. the tight competition for the ethereum I guess coming on Cardano and EOS. both altcoins are some very recent time stealing the attention of investors and of course because it has potential. in the long run, it is not impossible ethereum will increasingly have a rival not just of the two even altcoins just this but much else has great potential as well.
