Which are the best competitors to Ethereum, and why do you think so?

(I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum,
although they still haven't proved much from my understanding?)

Not Neo or Eos, I don't agree with what you say. I am more able to accept if WAVES is called the toughest rival of ethereum, because in addition to having almost the same technology, WAVES is developing with a large volume. It's just that, ether is more popular and is more often used for ico wallets, even though both actually have smart contracts.

Among the second generation cryptos, the major competitors to Ethereum include Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Quantum (QTUM). Waves used to be the main competitor, but its popularity has waned considerably during the past few months. Among the third generation cryptos, the main competitors include EOS, NEO and ADA.

I think so far the toughest competitor Ethereum (ETH) is NEO. that's according to the analysis that I understand. there are some features that attract many people for NEO. maybe that's most of the reason. thank's.

Neo is the best competitor for Ethereum, Neo is a good coin and has a large community in the market, it also has a fairly rapid development.
I am sure Neo will continue to grow and become one of the big coins in the future, without demeaning to ethereum, I just argue in my view.

In my opinion, NEO is the closest competitor to ethereum besides bitcoin. NEO is supported by governments and great developers from China. They use dBFT technology so that they can create transactions faster in seconds. But, I still believe that for at least the next few years ether will still stay above Neo.

I think ethereum's competitor is Waves, as we know that ethereum's main strength is used for hundreds of tokens, so ethereum prices continue to improve, waves have also begun to become coins used to make tokens.

To me I don't see these two tokens you mentioned challenging Ethereum, The Coin I see challenging Ethereum are; Waves, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash and Binance Coin. This is my opinion anyway.

If I think in the world of Cryptocurrency, there are many altcoins that are competitors to Ethereum, EOS has a good chance, if their blockchain network is implemented, the real network will be implemented. I hope all coins develop and become a strong competitor of ethereum, because that would be better for the crypto market.

I do not believe that ETH has competitors and that it will appear in the near future. If ETH has a competitor, it can only be done by bitcoin. ETH is the leader among alternative coins, and I think everyone still has to submit to ethereum, except bitcoin, because this is the father of cryptocurrency.

The most extreme frightful contender of ethereum is Bitcoin coins. The designers of bitcoin money, as I would see it no longer a second lost at the top of the priority list on an approach to get round and wind up better. anyway it's far higher now not to develop to be more then likely, in light of the fact that Ethereum is simply the maker, and bitcoin money is least complex a terrible similarity of btc.

I don't think anyone as a competitor for ethereum because it is the most used cryotocurrency when compared to other coins even the bitcoin because many tokens are created based on ethereum.

I think the only one is a Bitcoin however I am not sure that it is a competition.
Yeah I'm agree and the most terrible competitor of ethereum is Bitcoin cash. The developers of bitcoin cash, in my opinion not a moment lost in thoughts on how to get around and become better. But it is better not to become likely, because Ethereum is the Creator of itself, and bitcoin cash is only a pathetic semblance of btc. Thought?

No doubt that currently Etherium is the best altcoin and is trading too much good, but still I think that there are so many other altcoin in the market which also have too much good potential and they are the good competitor of etherium.

if I talk about competitors from ETH coins at the moment I think it's NEO rather than an altcoin that I see to date, NEO has developed sophisticated technology so in the country of NEO it is called a rival to ETH, many people say that NEO is the Chinese version of ETH

Nowadays there are a lot of projects such as EOS, Cardano, NEO, Waves and others which are pretending to become Ethereum 2.0, but it is not easy for them realise their ambitions.

The first question that came to my mind was that - could there really be best or good competitors to ethereum? I think so many coins have bragged to be better or to outrun ethereum, but none seem to have that prowess to achieve that. Some few months ago, some thought NEO could compete favourably with ethereum, but instead of seeing an uptrend in the value and price of NEO, it's been a downtrend. Well, we could say that the market condition generally is bad, but the rate at which NEO fell was just too much.

Waves or EOS. I don't have any other competitive alternative cryptocurrencise here because ETH is very strong one and it will be difficult to overtake it for others.

I think that the main competitor for the ethereum at the moment is NEO. NEO is an excellent coin with great prospects for growth and development, last year and early 2018, Neo was stronger than the market and showed stable growth, unlike IOTA and Cardano.

I figure the best contenders of ethereum should originate from various sorts of blockchain and not of those that are ERC-20 agreeable. However, in the value sense, more ERC-20 tokens are really esteemed so much like ethereum and still have an effect in the market.Today I perceive what number of ICO began work with Ethereum.Do you recall ICO at Cardano arrange? The amount ICO do you think began work at NEO stage?
