Yeah it could be but it couldn't be , ETH is at another level with them i guess, right now people are using ETH commonly then Neo and Eos.

I think EOS is ethereum greatest rival and biggest competition due to the reason that it capitalises on all ethereum weakness and took it as its own strength and features coupled with a very strong and great team.
EOS also has a lot of network problems. However, I also think that he is the most promising rival for Ethereum. It is for this reason that I invested part of my money in it. |

In my opinion, the closest thing to the imposition of a tangible competition are EOS and Waves. Both projects are very interesting and constantly evolving they have a development plan and an experienced development team. Now Ethereum is the most famous platform, but if other projects manage to offer a much simpler and more technological platform, the king of altcoins will be forced to give up his place.

I think that the strongest competitor for Ethereum is EOS. It is EOS that can compete with Ethereum, not NEO or Cardano.
I think that the competitors for Ethereum would be Ripple. The coins are both looking to be battling against Bitcoin too. |

Best competitors for ethereum is Monaco and NEO i think neo and monero is very potential to grow in the future with good project and NEO has good platform like ethereum, but i think ethereum is better. So i prefer ethereum for your asset investment.

As to my own view and research on work done. Talking about the best in Cryptocurrency I will definitely choose BTC over any coins but with related to your question it's asking which can be competitive with ETH I would choose NEO which is next prominent to ETH which is having good project plans and more so it's better investing in what's in here than future. ETH is really a good and it's strength in going viral is really strong and though the competition is a little low this year but we have alternate Altcoins.

EOS is the best competitor to Ethereum. EOS is developing very fast since it launched and becomes the top 5 coin on Coinmarketcap now. EOS has good dapps platform and the new projects run on EOS are now more than projects on other platforms like NEO or Waves.

Bitcoin still the number one best competitors of ethereum and all altcoins, most of them wanted to overtake bitcoin because they think that bitcoin is way too old now for new crypto.

Actually, I don't see any competitors to Ethereum but probably EOS and Tron can jump and chase it. However, it won't overtake ETH anyway. You said cardano and IOTA, really that a shit to eth, no chance.

The best contender to Ethereum may be the administration of the United States of America, should they ever proclaim it illicit.
