I think that ETH don't have any competitors at the moment, not during this year at least. There're few blockchains that have good potential like EOS and ICX, but they're still far behind the ethereum. And ethereum also doesn't stand on the same place it's developing and getting stronger.

There seems to be alot  of direct competitor to Ethereum list growing, NEO, Qtum, ICON, EOS, Cardano and recently RSK. I still feel RSK has the best chance of competing with BTC, POW coin and supported by 50% of Bitcoin network, being on Bitcoin network gives it a big chance of making it very big and it is easy for other projects to move their dapps  to RSK because it is very compatible with Ethereum

I think Ripple (XRP) can compete with ETH because the value of ETH continues to decline and now XRP is below ETH in the coinmarketcap. and now many investors are interested in XRP. I think Eos and Tron are Ethereum competitors in the future, these two coins have very good potential and have a lot of cooperation with several companies, especially TRON.

TRON has surpassed Ethereum in daily transactions. Our network has grown so much in such a short amount of time. Ethereum has been around for many years, TRON's MainNet is less than a year old and we're surpassing them already.

EOS, NEO, Ripple and Litecoin, the altcoin has a good team to develop the project so investors want to invest in it. The altcoin also has a large volume and a clearer concept, so it can't be doubted for its future. all altcoins will definitely want to be competitors of Ethereum and I'm sure they will continue to develop a better concept than Ethereum in the future.

Actually, there are more than hundreds competitors to ETH, but asking this question is similar to asking "Best competitors to Apple?". There're plenty, but Apple is sitting on the very top by continuously innovate/research/create new way to bound people into their cult. In a way ETH is like that. There's not a cult like project that is stronger than ETH atm. Any tought?

Ethereum has many competitors ( XLM, NEO, WAWES, EOS) but their technology is used less than Ethereum and I conclude that Ethereum will keep itself in the leader's place !

I do not quite agree with the presence in the list of XRP, but respect your opinion. As it is interesting to observe, almost every platform has its own country "manufacturer". By the way, I would add a token from Korea BOScoin, a dark horse comes out of the twilight. They carry a very interesting offer to this market.

As for me it is Cardano and Neo. Speaking about Neo, they launched a lot of ICOs on platform and it is profitable to hold funds on their platform for a long term, you earn gas. As for Cardano, i didn't see their product and no one ICO was launched inside their testnet. I hope they are going to release their product soon
