Got a shipping notification from BFL this morning. 60Gh/s Single, order date 11/13/2012; USPS priority
I wouldn't call the shipping estimate a failure, they are clearing 14 days worth of singles in just 1 day.

It's just simple math, They said they estimated they would clear all orders up to April 30th cleared by the end of September. Using your narrow view of just Singles. If they continue to clear 14 days of SINGLES orders a day and they worked EVERYDAY between now and the end of the month they will ship 140 days of singles which would mean they would be close but they DON'T work everyday, they claim full production 6 days a week but the numbers haven't reflected that and they have 2 other product lines to clear as well. They aren't going to make it unless something radical changes. P.S. Until you see an initial scan in your USPS tracking record, it isn't on it's way.

At the current rate BFL will knock off approximately 1 month of Single orders every two business days. If they only were doing this back in July ALL the public complaining, Paypal and CC chargeback forced refunds really are having a positive effect on shipments after all

Unless they do it at the expense of Little Singles and Mini-Rigs.

Yeah they aren't going to make it. But don't worry by the end of the month we will hear "TWO MORE WEEKS"!

Best for them to ship out units that are of high value and not difficult to build. The single, at 9x the price of the jalapeno (post price increase), probably doesn't take 9x as long to build, so that's the most efficient miner from a production standpoint.

Butterfly Labs has a different interpretation of the FTC Mail Order Rule. You do not have a refund option with the BFL Monarch no matter how late they ship. "... My 60 GH/sec showed up today from a Oct 4, 2012 order. They have picked up some steam, I didn't think I'd see it for a while. Averaging around 58 GH/sec and as loud as everyone said.

Their singles are flying out the door!
Is that because production has ramped up or because orders were thin oct/nov 2012?

Also due to all the recent refunds. They found out that they couldn't mine with our hardware and keep our pre-order money too!

3 Jul 13 https://twitter.com/BFL_News/status/352443673574780929"Josh,you were thinking all 2012 (non-MR) pre orders would be shipped by end of July, still feel that way?" BFL_JoshYeah, I think we'll get it done. 3 Jul 13https://twitter.com/BFL_News/status/352443673574780929 BFL_Josh - I still expect us to be through the back orders by the end of August. https://forums.butterflylabs.com/pre...html#post44788Suddenly the shipping for all orders to date slips a month 8 Jul 13 https://twitter.com/BFL_News/status/354233716274495488With the current order book up to today, I expect it to be filled by the end of September. https://forums.butterflylabs.com/bfl...html#post4585210 Jul 13 https://twitter.com/BFL_News/status/355022916909408256BFL_Josh - As far as I know, our new production manager is still on target for the end of September. So not sure what you make of Josh's predictions ... seems to me like he is simply passing on the party line from his boss and saying what he is told to say... but quite frankly... DON'T BELIEVE IT!! Some replies I found worth now posting here: https://forums.butterflylabs.com/pos...te-delays.htmlQuote Originally Posted by BFL_Josh View Post There is no "September promise. There is no "September promise" that people keep citing. There has never been a "September promise." So far, not a single person has shown a quote from anyone at BFL promising all back orders would be shipped by the end of September. All dates given have been estimates, that's why they are called estimates and not "guarantees." Is this really that hard to understand? Do people really not understand what an estimate is? As far as this quote goes: It's due specifically to the fact that we are delivering and fulfilling our end of things. That's what's so ridiculous about all these arguments. Why do you think the difficulty is going up? Who else is shipping in quantity besides BFL? We crossed the 10,000 units shipped mark sometime last week and our production is accelerating. Please, and I'm dead serious about this, tell me what you thought was going to happen after we shipped all of our products? Did you think difficulty would remain the same or go down?

Please, and I'm dead serious about this, tell me what you thought was going to happen after we shipped all of our products? Did you think difficulty would remain the same or go down? Josh forgot to add a third choice: Would the difficulty go up? BTW, this is the correct answer, but then it wouldn't have been a rhetorical question, along with giving the previous "dead serious" question cred. Taking the two sentences combined, it's difficult to ascertain if Josh truly is dead serious or simply offering up a rhetorical choice.

71 74 75 198 days of Jalapenos to ship [Updated for Joshs 9/11/13 New Date of April 30th 2013] 152 154 175 299 Days of Little Singles [Updated for Joshs 9/11/13 New Date of April 30th 2013] 148 178 209 257 404 days of Singles [Updated for Joshs 9/11/13 New Date of April 30th 2013] 303 311430 days of Mini-rig orders. [Updated for Joshs 9/11/13 New Date of April 30th 2013] 674 684 749 product line days left to ship They are shipping 21 product line days (product line days is the combined amount of days of all products) on average each day. They need 32 35 more days (shipping 7 days a week) to get to the end of April. They have 7 days left until their latest self imposed deadline. guess wild ass guess estimation goal. If they sacrifice one product line over the others, they may get one to the finish line. Chances of getting all of them to the finish line are ZERO. Timer removed. End time: 2013-10-01+05:00:59UTC Adjusted the clock for Kansas time.
