Do you believe in ICO Ratings?

Thanks to the author for the post.Long thought over this question.Never when choosing an ICO did not pay attention to the rating. What they,the experts, guided the evaluation?I'm an expert like them.)who needs to turn shall put assessment of!)cheap! pensioners discount!

For others maybe they consider the rating of a particular ICO as an added factor but for me, I am not that dependent on those sites, I do my own research and it's just an instinct whether I would participate in that ICO or not. After all, you can not blame those rating sites if your investments failed.

Last time I made a ico decision based on ico ratings, I got burnt big time. Its not like they are wrong all the time, I just feel one shouldn't base all your decision making on the ratings and review from 2 or 3 people at the website. They remind me of football pundits who analyse and make predictions on live TV. They are not always right.

At first I trusted the ICO rating for the problem of choosing the project I was going to follow but in fact the rating was so high it was not good enough in the sale of its tokens, and from then on I do not believe anymore with the ICO rating because all can be in the manipulation of the ratings they provide, they may pay to include a high rating because I feel they will not be neutral in appraising an ICO, so it all comes back to the concept of a project if it is good and the good rating is clearly balanced.

Ratings are not always right. But I believe that if the project is added to various rating sites, then it is less likely that it will be fraudulent. Although this in my experience happened.

Despite to the fact that some websites are not trustworthy, there exist some good website that rate ICOs. I use these websites to have a general thought about projects and experts opinions are very useful I think.

Well, if it is a rating from a trusted platform - yes. I prefer to check everything at icodrops com.

Lot of ICO  rating website recently are begining to turn to cheat, most are now being paid to rate, reason why you see that most of there rating are always on the high/positive , I use them as referenc and do my own personal research before investing, else you can be mislead by there judgement.

I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!

If you leave out the marketability of the token right after the ICO, then I do trust these ratings. ICO ratings are irrelevant to the after pre-sale statistics of the token. ICO ratings rate the overall smoothness and legitimacy of the ICO and not the marketing and value of the token.

Yup your idea was right I also notice that most ico rating website provide a high rating even the project have no real intention to create a real product meaning the website are bias and being paid by ico project. It always okay to trust your own analysis/ research and dont based on any ico rating website.

Somehow yes. But I don't rely with ICO ratings that much because it can be a paid advertisement. We never know. So if I am going to invest in a certain ICO, I won't rely on what other people say. I will do my own research to study that ICO before I invest.

No. Would never believe such rating from other people. I would rather do my own research.
They rate it by their own basis, we all have that kind of mind just like they do. It is just that they have a website to tell it and we dont.
Well we could at least share it in this forum though.
Somehow their ratings gives some impact to new players. It is not good if they give bad ones and then suddenly it will be a success.

These websites are just my beginings of research but they dont affect if i am investing or not.There are so many wrong or payed reviews so always DYOR before you invest

Yeah i believe in Icos Rating ! Need to Icos Will increase there rating you need to spread and to share what is Icos doing or a great happen when Icos Start !! To get your ICOs rating will increases more and more!!

I think a website like ICObench, ICOrating only as one of the reference factors when we will invest on a project. But we also should not be too trust in these websites. The best result is when we do our own research on the project that we will invest.

So  the ico rating website is just one of our references when we going to do deeper research on a project. That's my opinion. Btw sorry for my bad english and thanks!

Actually ill did not totally trusted in ICO rating but this will be can get some investor to invest on this project because the ICO rating was in high rate. But not all in the high in rate are in the token sold out, But we need time to research also on the project if we need to invest in a project.
