Even if the worst scenario happens (what deprives government from big stake), the deep currencies will still be in circulation and demand for them will grow too.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

it is true that the government can kill the crypto.
by issuing a new rule of prohibition of the use of crypto in the country then the price of crypto may fall.
and if followed by many countries then it could happen crypto until no value...

The governments are now trying to do almost everything just so that they can control crypto. But that is something that will not happen. It is impossible to take place. Imagine an invention to get away from the central authorities being controlled by them. That is just pure irony. Well, there is no avoiding the fact that the governments are powerful and their powers are now affecting the growth of crypto by banning or regulating them. But crypto continued to live and is getting stronger even despite that.

Im just wanna fill the statement.if there is no country legal bitcoin i think it would be crush anytime. Because there is no support from government. As long the crypto have a country that accept payment bitcoin and open trading in their country, then crypto would never end.

In my opinion no body and no one party include government can to kill crypto, because all crypto and the blockchain technology behind it is decentralized. All bad news that exist now is just FUD to manipulated the price of crypto.
Agree on you. Cryptocurrency is decentralized, no one owned this. Government are very angry in bitcoin or other cryptocurrency because they can't get tax on cryptocurrency, that's why they are very hate bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.

Crypto is consensus driven. If majority agrees on a certain course of action,  who can stop it?  No one. It's a digital democracy. Countries has started seeing the importance and use of cryptocurrencies. So no govt can stop it.

They can not stop the criminals and the government itself is studying crypto technology and as far as I'm concerned with the government joining the crypto they know that it's easy to earn and invest in crypto because it does not have the tax and they are free to earn in an easy way.

It's easy to say that the government will kill CryptoCurrency if it do not bring any benefit.

Complying with government regulators' rules may remove ostensible excuses from their rhetorical arsenal and that may help for a very precious time. But more important are mainstreaming cryptocurrency before regulators can shut it down (the Uber effect) and legally bribing politicians with Bitcoin with with proceeds from the cryptocurrency industry (wealthy cryptocurrency owners should fund key politicians' campaigns, preferably with Bitcoin).

Keeping cryptocurrency legal really is a race against the clock at this point. Its growing popularity serves clashing forces by simultaneously spooking the regulators and mainstream it. The latter wins only to the extent the former can be restrained.

The government can only regulate the circulation policy of crypto existing in its territory, can not prohibit in full because of decentralized cryptocurency which means not depend on government or other party. Cryptocurency will survive even if the state forbids it.

They can stop Ripple with the "global freeze function" (in-build kill switch). Shut down the whole Distributed Ledger Database Technology (DLT) or just individuals.

"The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling."  Satoshi Nakamoto, April 2009          Avoiding taxes is totally legal if you consider and respect the law.

It is very stupid to reject the latest technology.  Governments of different countries will not take this step.  Crypto currency is the future of the economy.  And many countries understand this.  Perhaps it is only these news that are brought to us differently.  And of course, they want to control the whole situation, but with the crypto currency it is difficult.
Even it will be highly stupid activity, we cannot expect governments to accept a new system which will be making their traditional momentary system into peril.

Because crypto currencies may collapse taxation of a country which will not be preferred by any government for sure then how we can expect governments to approve crypto currency from the beginning days itself. Probably government might need more time to understand the necessity of crypto currency for modern economic.

I agree, which the government have their own law on distinctive country to regulate or make a law on their own if they will legalized bitcoin or not but as far as I know those country legalized bitcoin will benefit the capability of bitcoin as well as altcoins on their place. Also, I don't think they can kill crypto even on their place since many people trying to be part of this job even if there country didn't legalized bitcoin.

Never all governments will have the same opinion about the ban on cryptocurrency.
They can not come to an agreement in other simpler matters.
If many countries prohibit the cryptocurrency, there will always be other countries that will not be banned.

They could, but I don't think they will.

I don't think that the whole world will ban it because it has so much potential and also it is growing in value. We have just seen a county in South America hold and ICO an they have reported to make over 700 million USD in the first day. There is so much potential and I think it will only grow.

As for me the government can't harm the crypto currency. If it wanted to ban crypto then this prohibition would have happened long ago. Now we see how many countries in the world accept crypto. I think the world will change significantly for good due to crypto pretty soon.

Probably not, but government can take an effort and restrict crypto circulation according to legislation. And I wonder if crypto can kill government Smiley

I'm sure they have the 'power' to do it, but, in my opinion they probably won't.  I think it's easy to see how they could benefit from this, once they get everything setup.  At this point though, Crypto has grown so big, and so many people know about it, I think it would be viewed very negatively if they did attempt to kill crypto, and most likely backfire.  When you tell kids they can't have goodies, they normally find sneaky ways to obtain it...

They can band website access but as long as there is TOR and demand there isn't any stopping it. No matter of government prevention.
China's proven that. It has only lost 35% of its demand, for now.

I can imagine taxed suppression is as best as it will get after governments attempt to ban them and realise its near impossible. If net neutrality comes in full swing internationally then it may be possible for some time. But not forever. People like having rights.

Merit me or don't.
