"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
if they really want, they can kill crypto for sure,at least coins that are used like currencyy, not tokens, like Egretia, blockchain for html5 developers or Libra Credit - PayPal on blockchain

I think that the government can greatly restrict people. And using crypto currency will become very difficult in the real world
unlikely ,that crypto can be done without government interference ,human rights are the most important in life so the government cannot limit the because of the future currency with this blockchain product that will lead to a new era for our lives

Governments can't stop this or kill crypto. What they can only do is to regulate cryptocurrency in their country. They banned ICO, and that's the only thing they can do. They can't stop or kill crypto by just by banning it. The Government may stop the people in dealing with cryptocurrency in their country, but doesn't mean that they can also stop the people from another country to be with crypto.

Actually they can block almost everything that is going on internet. This is not very likely, but what they can do is ban the transactions and make it very very hard for the people to exchange fiat to crypto and the the other way around.

I think not because the government can not persuade or kill bitcoin heads because bitcoin or crypto currency is not owned by people but it can be used by everyone and I think it will not kill crpyto. No one can't kill crypto except the users.

I think that the government can make it so that you do not want to use crypto currency or you just can not do it! Some countries have long been fighting the crypto currency and quite successfully.

They can't kill cryptos " in the concrete meaning of kill" . In fact they can take some measurements & legislations that may sensibly affect cryptocurrencies prices .
Banks also can do this as well , such as the British Lloyds Bank Plc and CityGroup bank & HP Morgan Chase bank which have imposed restrictions on using'em to buy cryptos ; this has contributed to lowering cryptos prices
My opinion is that now the state authorities are deliberately knocking down the exchange rate of cryptocurrencies, releasing some fake news to spread FUD among cryptocurrency holders. But we see that more and more large funds are buying BTC. It seems to me that now the States and large funds want to buy out as much BTC as possible, so as not to lose their power over the financial system.

I do not know of any world government. If it really exists, then you can start to discuss -. "Does the world government control the Cryptocurrency?". "Did the world government start bitcoin project?"

Crypto currencies cant be killed by any government , they are trying to stop to purchase/sell crypto's but people intend to do transactions. many governments around the world are trying to legalize by seeing it implications , few governments are still analyzing to implement and legalize the crypto's.

It's not profitable for the government. Ban the use of cryptocurrencies at the legislative level and then people in any case will find loopholes to circumvent this ban. It is more correct on their part to legally justify all categories that relate to the crypto sphere and to levy taxes for operations with cryprocurrencies. Government loves and knows how to collect taxes. In this business they have no equal.

They can certainly  try but unless they are planning on stopping and banning everyone from using the internet, then there is nothing that they can do to stop people from using cryptos. Although they can clearly ban cryptos in all countries making it so that there is no way for people to cash out their cryptos so there's that. They would be losing too much money if they did it so they won't.

They have long been trying to do this, they need control over financial flows. But I do not think that they will succeed, this is the whole power of decentralization.

I thought that in a few years we will all come to a very subtle regulation of crypto-currency from the world governments. Everything will be taken under control.

Honestly Government cannot kill crypto but they can minimize crypto currencies participants and lossen their interest because of their strict implementation and adding taxes of bitcoin.

They can't kill crypto in the first place, are they out of there mind? If that's gonna happen them I'll make sure the world will end and no innovation are enhancing. Governments control minds of every nation and we need to be aware of it.

Of course, governments control everything in this world, but they themselves are interested in this technology. Another thing is that they can cover up many projects, and leave only what they like!

They absolute can't kill crypto, can only limit it by issuing regulations because crypto is not centralized, all networks are connected around the world like the internet not easy if you want to kill crypto must be able to kill the entire network in the world, and the crypto community will not remain silent  Cool

Governments can regulate locally but crypto is globally decentralized so the effects will always be limited unless there is a political wide consensus and that's never gonna happen.

But greed and criminal scams can kill crypto.

The number of fake ICOs is on the rise and is the number of people fooled by these schemes.

Of course, world government can kill crypto because they are very powerful. We all know that because of internet...crypto runs and innovate and when the world government intended to shut down the internet then it will be the end of crypto. The world government has the power to make crypto stop and to destroy it.
