I think government cannot kill the crypto because it only make the regulation about cryptocurrency in some country. Not all countries.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The governments may not be able to kill crypto, but they can discourage a lot of people from using crypto-currency. I heard from my friends in India that the volumes went down sharply there as a result of government actions.

I think the government will not kill cryptocurrencies. If the government can kill cryptocurrencies, why do they manage it? Why do some countries want to prohibit cryptocurrencies? So this logic is enough to prove that the government has no way to use cryptocurrencies. So I think the government can't kill cryptocurrencies.

However, bitcoin is simply a product made by humans. Bitcoin is great, but that does not mean bitcoin is a superhero that can not be defeated by anyone. There is nothing eternal in this world. So is bitcoin. I am convinced that if the governments of all the world mobilize the power, authority, agreement and cooperate to kill and kill bitcoin then it will soon be realized.

no, they can not kill crypto because no country has full authority over crypto currency. maybe they can forbid crypto currency to circulate in their country but can not kill it or destroy it

There is no realistic way in which governments can kill Crypto trading. There is so much of it going on that their best bet is to come up with a form of regulation that falls within their jurisdiction. Governments can clearly see the potential of Crypto and Blockchain tech to do a lot of good for society hence countries like Switzerland are coming up with compromises like setting up Mining centres in abandoned buildings to deal with the energy consumption issue, which is the main flaw of Proof Of Work coins. They're attempting to roll a large boulder up a steep hill

I don't think the world government can kill crypto they don't have control on it so far. The cryptocurrency is a digital currency that the government has to accept on the basis of influence of technology.

the government can not kill drugs that are physically sold in the market and thus bitcoin. Bitcoin is a digital currency and I bet that they can not kill or control it because the government has no control over it. People will always find ways to circumvent the law if beneficial to them like this cryptocurrency for example. Cryptcurrency such as bitcoin eliminates restrictions in financial technology, wherever in the world you can send and receive and receive payments.

The government should take care primarily of citizens living in their country and if people want to use the crypto currency and consider it more convenient, then prohibiting the crypto currency will be a suicide for the authorities. The Crypto-currency has already entered our world deeply and it can not be eradicated.

With the great features of electronic money for the development of society, no one intended to kill the ciphers including the government. In my view, the government can not manage this market and the abnormal fluctuations of this market affect the society, many of the illegal activities leverage electronic money to implement the dark intent... In the immediate future, the government is trying to limit their pace of development in order to manage them. In the future, the government will take measures to promote the electronic money market in each country.

Our government can do anything but kill the crypt completely they will not succeed, they can do it in part, or block it, but will always find how to get around it!

It will be entirely dependent on the development of crypto technology itself, because if every derivative of crypto has a real impact and contribution in everyday life, I think crypto will never die.

Government can make it very difficult for normal people to buy and sell cryptocurrencies with fiat money. If there's no fresh money coming in, it will be hard to sustain the market cap.

crypto is a new technology, Always the new technology is always rejected because there is not enough information about it. In my opinion governments need time to understand crypto. they can not kill crypto.because they can not control it unless the Internet cancels the whole world that's impossible. Smiley

It seems that the crypto currency has already quite steadily risen to its feet, It is not realistic to kill what is invested so much fiat money, and that gave life to many Blockchain projects!

Governments can not kill cryptocurrencies, but of course - if they find an agreement - they can make it illegal and therefore dangerous to use. However, this will not prevent - for those who want to take risks - to use them and profit from them.

Funny but true.  Drugs are tangible but they cannot control nor stop  it, how much more with cryptocurrency, intangible and decentralized.  I think governments very much wants to have control and power over cryptocurrency but they cannot find any ways.  Governments will not and cannot kill cryptocurrency because they can use  it and can regulate it and find its usefulness for the betterment of economy and life of people and of course they can taxed it eventually. There are news that some countries  are already looking into the benefits of cryptocurrency.

The world government can kill the cryptocurrency, but this requires the countries of the world to boycott it and jointly prohibit its operation. But I think this possibility is very small!

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
Yes, governments can kill the Cryptocurrency by introducing strict rules for each country in the world. But I think Crypto's future will not be that bad. Nevertheless, it has contributed a lot to the world with its excellent Blockchain technology. a new change and very helpful will be recognized in the future and I strongly believe that.
