World Government can not kill bitcoin unless of course if they criminalize the use and the ownership of bitcoin of which it may be impossible to publicly own and transfer bitcoin. Even in such worst case scenerio, people will still find a way.

For me governments can't kill crypto because they don't get a hold of crypto's system. Cryptocurrency moderators/admins already has their system secured from people who will try to destroy them.

I thought government wont kill crypto, as the government created that technology. Blockchain controled by the goverment. Right now is a short period of time when everything setups and regulation is only in development. After that, all our money will be open for the government, so you would not hide your money from the taxes.

In case most countries regulated the cryptocurrency I believe investors can still earn. Of course the government may not impose stiff regulations againts the digital currency. The income may get low but not low enough that investors will lose big time.

If all of the world power governments decided to ban Bitcoin, that would effectively kill it. No, it wouldn't disable it, but making it "dirty" money would mean that all transactions become black market, and that's not sustainable. There's also Net Neutrality to worry about. ISPs could easily collude to cripple blockchain networks.

Regulators cannot stop the use of cryptocurrencies because cryptocurrency or blockchain is the world's future. Instead a proper legislation to regulate the use of digital currency should bring into effect so that to protect people from fraud ICO's.

I think that of course they can. But why! I think all will cost only the fact that legalize a certain amount of cryptocurrency, and the rest of the ban. In General, I'm interested to see how they will do it. And it is interesting that it will be so - 5-7 years later. Let's see.

I don't think that the world government will be able to kill crypto. Crypto currencies are completely decentralized and they proved their viability, as they began to develop with the help of ordinary people and crypto enthusiasts. The government drew its attention to the cryptosphere only last year. That is, 8 years after the first crypto currency - bitcoin creation.

It seems to me that this is absolutely impossible. Because the government can't control the life and death of the coin. Only the ability to influence.

The technology behind it is too strong to kill. They just want to find a way to control and tax, I think that's all they want to do.

the government of any country can decide only on its own territory. but if all the countries of the world unite against cryptocurrencies and then, of course, it will not survive. just imagine if for the cryptocurrency will be for example, put in prison. hardly anyone wants to do it.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it". The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks There have been some attempts at regulation over the years, the Chinese government banned financial institutions from using bitcoin. The U.S. has also made attempts to regulate. Without a central location, any shutdown would have to be global. Even if a country was to somehow prevent bitcoin transactions from taking place within their country, a simple VPN would let users operate internationally with no issue. If bitcoin was regulated users could simply trade it for another Cryptocurrency, so it would be impossible to stop unless all currencies were barred. The government can try their best to regulate it, but they never be able to “kill” Crypto

True, no single government can kill a decentralized network.
But a joint effort against the exchanges would kill the market.
People want to cash out, converting crypto to fiat.
If all major exchanges were to be made illegal or heavily regulated, the market would collapse.
But I don't think that will happen, there's too much money at stake!

it is unlikely that the government could kill crypto that have users around the world and decentralized network systems. where it can destroy an already strong crowd just because the government organizes crypto is impossible.

Yes, if the government will want to rule crypto they can decide to kill it or just stop it, and we cannot do anything if they decide to do that.

I don't think any government can completely kill the crypto. I feel that the governments are trying to delay it. One of the reason might be that when crypto currencies are fully in practice not necessarily the existing currencies it will be very difficult to keep.
