because USD is going down, better go out from USD to EUR if you are going to hold fiat for a while

Is that even possible if you already have fiat in USD in the account

I believe they are not shutting down, they are waiting for more approvals in different states. It seems to be much more difficult to operate in US then in Europe. There are already announced some state(s) in the first half of 2014 on kraken.

Can someone pls explain me what is difference between "Last" and "Weighted Avg" price?
And what is mathematical formula for Weighted Avg price?
Why is "Weighted Avg" always refreshing on the page and why not the "Last"

I attach a SS.. when I check detailed statistic at 9am

Weighted average typically refers to a volume weighted average. As an example, suppose you have the following trades:
Code:
vol   price
1      $100
3      $120
6      $130
the volume-weighted-average would be (1 x $100 + 3 x $120 + 6 x $130) / 10 = $124.

Kraken shows the weighted average for a certain timeframe. The top of the page shows the last 24 hours, I believe. So this is not only updated when new trades are made, but also after trades that happened a day ago fall outside the 24 hour window. This is why you see this value updating without the "last" price being updated.

Hi Kraken guys,

I made a deposit on 28th of November of 250 euro, forgot to mention the reference number, I know, not very smart of me.

Immediately after I made the deposit I submitted a support ticket (#5503) with all the details needed to resolve, but got no response yet. I would very much appropriate if one of your guys could have a look at this, I think this can be solved within 5 minutes! A person from Kraken only needs to check their accounts and verify that I made the deposit of 250 euro and add it to my account.

Any reply is appreciated!

Thanks and a happy new year

I just looked at your ticket and somebody did respond to it - I'll have someone create a follow up ticket, so let me know if you don't receive it. There's a 250 euro deposit credited to your account on the 28th, so the person who answered your ticket thought that was the one you were looking for. If that's not the deposit you are talking about, please clarify with the support person - i.e. let them know that you made a second 250 euro deposit if that's the case.

We are NOT shutting down USD trading. The volume has been very low in USD in recent days, but it's never been very high. I'm not sure why it's been lower recently, but euro volume has been relatively low compared to normal as well, so it may just be that we are going through a period of low volume. I expect USD volume will continue to be low until we launch in more US states next year.

@Dargo

Hello,  my wife as a verified account with kraken. Will a deposit get sent back if I have sent a wire transfer from my bank account and not hers?  Please help

The name on the bank account must match the name on the Kraken account. We verify accounts by collecting information about the owner of the account and we do this because we are required by law to know our customers. It defeats the purpose of account verification if we accept deposits from people other than the one who created the account, because this essentially amounts to having an unknown customer.

To get help with your issue, please create a support ticket about it if you haven't done so already.

Dargo a question for you... Can you help? We have serious issues with your API, using python3. No matter what way we try we always get "invalid key" error. We used the example (python2) and upgraded it to work with python 3... is there any known issue that can explain that invalid key error? Because we would like to do our trading via our trading bot.

Is Kraken going the way of Bitcoin-24? Money not turning up, total lack of support, I'm just waiting for the site to go down next...

I made a SEPA withdrawal 3 weeks ago, my second so the details are correct, and despite it saying 'success' I have yet to receive my money. No response from support despite numerous polite attempts. Others are having the same problem and are expressing it on the Kraken FB page. Somebody from Kraken removed all the negative posts but didn't respond to them. This is a very poor show.

My support ticket is #14190.

I typed my password wrong a few too many times and now I have been locked out of my account for over 5 days, no support in sight, it's something that should have been automatically resolved within 4 hours as the Kraken FAQ indicates but it hasn't.

Please, solve it ASAP. It is such a simple problem, it should not take so long.

I'm awaiting deposit of wired USD sent 14 days ago for a sizeable sum. The FAQ says it takes 5 to 10 days. Which itself is excessive. But it's now 4 days beyond the published maximum...

Such delays are bad enough, but not even an apology or explanation.

Dargo, you seem to be the best customer relations agent. I have submitted a support ticket, numbered 14518. My public account ID is AA46 N84G LJWJ A4PQ. Thanks for any insight.
