Has anyone ever seen this whole kind of a big company or a factory? Do you have any real photos?
They are not a big company with big factory - they have contracts with pcb manufacturers and assemblers. When boards are assembled and returned to bitmine, they put them in case(s), and ship.

I refrained myself from posting until now because I rather be a lurker usually but I really don't understand what is going on.

I'm really trying hard to not give in to despair and rage.

A lot of people must be calling them and spamming their mailbox to get information. That must be stressful and time-consuming for them. I don't get why they can't spend 10 minutes posting some news to diminish that annoyance. Wouldn't that be best for Bitmine to give their clients some reasons to wait patiently instead of flipping out?
Is that really less painful for them to be hammered with requests and threats than posting 2 lines on their homepage? Something like "We're really sorry to announce a one-week delay in our shipping schedule because of (insert a reason here). Thanks you for your understanding".

Nothing is worse than silence. Gorgiomassa Is logging almost everyday on this forum and stay online for 5-10min. I see him each time and each time I wonder if he'll finally post some info and nothing happens. Why?

I still think they'll deliver and are just having a chain of bad luck. The mining business is full of obstacles and risk, everyone with a brain agreed to that when preordering... but that lack of communication wasn't expected. It is really deteriorating the situation.

I must thanks Zefir for bringing some insight but that can't replace an official statement unfortunately.

Please GM, with all due respect, say something.

They have hired a support guy (antonio) who is supposed to handle all the emails and phones. So that should be no problem.
Giorgiomassa is supposed to post news here on the forum and on bitmine.ch... But he on average posts only once a month.

He never posts to justify or explain a previous unresolved claim, or previous promise he couldn't keep.

That's the biggest problem, why I can't make a sense out of this mess. Because I cant see a consistency in the news he gives.

He talks about problems or things that are of no importance to us customers,
and he keeps for himself what would be necessary for us to know.

Has anyone ever seen this big company or a factory? Do you have any real photos?

First of all: Hi to everybody , I'm David from Italy.
I would like to explain to you my experience with Bitmine.

Yes, in November (my order is #3102 for a full Desk) I have been in Swiss, that is quiet near to my town, to visit Bitmine and to meet the staff. As we had to pay them in advance we wanted to know diretcly whom we were going to pay.
I have to tell the truth and what I saw is this:
- Little front office a few peopole as staff (I saw 4 guys), but everyone really busy.
- A guy of the staff brought me and my friend to see the prototype and explained us all the problem they had in the past with the Avalon chip affair
- We talked about data sheet, software, everything
- We have been there for 2 - 2 hours and an half
- We had a pair of coffee
- We had a good impression and so we decided to pay them cash for the order

So, yes Bitmin exist it is a little office at the 2nd floor of a business building and yes they seemed to us to be honest and reliable.
However we should have to receive our Desk the first week of February, but... nothing. So I decided to send them an email and this is the answear I received:
(I wrote them in Italy as they speek Italian too, but the answered me in English and German):

(Bitmine AG)
Feb 13 11:32

Dear Mr.Xxxxxx,
This week we will ship the first orders with Desks,
though those will be the first orders.
As soon as our production give exact information regarding your order I will let you know.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thanks
for your interests in our products.

Danke für Ihr Interesse an unseren Produkten.

For any questions don't hesitate to contact us. In the meantime

Für Fragen sind wir jederzeit für Sie da.

Kind regards/MfG

Customer Service

That's a pre-typed email.
What do I think? I think that at the moment ROI is gone... but there is not only BTC to mine out there, there are other cryptocoins and now there are for me and my friend only two ways:
- wait the 61st day to claim our money back
- wait to receive the Desk and start mining BTC or something else to convert in a second time in BTC
Am I angry? No I'm "only" disappointed for all the time lost and the Btc not mined.
And Yes I'm disappointed too that someone could have made a Sting to two Italian guy  Roll Eyes
But I think that at the end there is not a really sting but only a really bad business plan and failing organization in the Bitmine Company.

That's all folks, and sorry for my English.

The Coincraft Desk is a SHA-256 ASIC, so you can't mine any Scrypt coins with it and most SHA-256 coins are usually less profitable than Bitcoins. Take a look at this list: http://coinchoose.com/

Wanna spend some Bitcoins with a prepaid Master Card? All you need is a VirWox Account and a Skrill Master Card Wink

For those who will seek refund...just one remark : Mt.Gox is coming back from Benjy Franklin per coin level n(100USD/1BTC), so if you want to recoup from this disaster it's time to buy some virtual CHIPS... 'cause it's rising...again...

OMG my date was last week of dec 2013... should I feel a bit it disapointed, but maybe there's no(w) some light on the tunnel as support emailed today:

"Hello
Kindly be informed, that the first miners are living the warehouse now. It would be a pleasure for us, if we could inform our customers about the delivery date, but unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have an exact shipping date for your order #2XXX. But we will inform you on time.
Thank you for your patience and your understanding "

It's still better while miners are only 'living' in their wharehouse, than hashing there.  Grin

I hope that they would not have started supplying since I still need to spend 30% customs duties.  Cry

Bottom line: there is no income, but only the extra costs!  Cry
