With the bitcoin rising (now €430/$588) you might want to reconsider requesting a refund and go for the ordered miner.

Why. They still wont profit eaven close to the preorder money people have paid to this company. Every Bitmine customer got ripped off. Refund is only option. Delivered miners are bad investments.

You can buy 1TH from other vendors much much cheaper.

1TH 1900$
1.5TH 2500$
when would you receive those???

They should be quite far from bankruptcy, In february they increased their shares from 500'000$ to 1'000'000$ Adding Zefir to the team.

Speaking of Zefir, long time no see in this post...

noone from Bitmine has posted anything in a long time.

they probably can't come up with any new excuses or lies

I understood some people experimented with (external) fans?  Questions on the result:

1) which fans did you use (brand, URL, price)?
2) how did you connect them (split wires from existing fans???)
3) how effective was the solution (how much temperature drop)?
4) how much noisier is the solution (are the desks with the extra fans noticeable more noisier)?

greetings,
Rob

http://bitminerefund.com/ so far already $ 318,245 in the verified refund section but also a big lists of customers who are waiting for their refund application confirmation on the bottom of the site which will make this amount even higher.

With the rising BTC price you would think this is in the advantage of Bitmine to start cashing some of their mined coins or saved up coins to actually start refunding...

wonder how much the estimated number of unreported refund request are...
and it seems they have processed refunds only once last week. on the 21.05.

Emails to Bitmine going unanswered (what else is new, gets worst as days goes by) Maybe some charitable soul will feel remorse and answer it. WAIT! this is not charity, I paid good BTC for it!!!! Sad

Dear Sirs,
This #587 <https://bitmine.zendesk.com/requests/587> order that was
received ( may 7 ) only contains 2 modules.
If you check my account 2 upgrades were purchased to be added to
#587<https://bitmine.zendesk.com/requests/587>
.
I should have received a total of 5 modules ( including compensation ) in
this box.
Please advice
Thank you.

Is there any progress on this email sent before ?
( 4 emails, one every week)

What makes it worst is that the pce-e male conectors the boards come with are very flimsy, thinner gauge than any video card has. And you expect this to hold 200 watts in nominal draw? You have to be kidding...that shows your train of thought and engeneering towards the most obvious.
Not only very late for a very early purchase but amateurish faulty.
Well it arched now (nominal) i'm stuck with a module that i'll probably have to hardwire since  I can't rely on you for custumer support. (even less to send what I paid for)
Even less reliability if you guys can't get your orders straight ( see above )

You mentioned BFL? Please, rewrite that statement. They have done more then you ever will. There's people out there making you guys look very amateurish at the moment. Never accused you of thieves but by you are pissing off your custumers does not make it any better.

Answer your emails and at least make good on what you are supposed to do. Otherwise it will get worst than what it already is. You could be in control of the situation but you are not even trying. Lies and misdirection won't help.

Man up Dudes!

There's a 80% that I don't say trying very hard to be polite, however you are wearing me very thin...

Why do you sound surprised? Because someone is selling hardware at a fair value?
Or because shipment is within 24 hours?

If you want a bitmine desk, just buy it from CryptX Smiley

crybaby text deleted
Nobody from Bitmine is reading your text
... just face it. This is an open forum and not a bitmine forum ...

All you achieve is getting in more and more ignore lists ... and guess what! You just made mine.

I'm surprised they actually have a substantial amount of coindesk miners for sale to begin with.
Where do they come from?
My most conservative bet is that asic-hardware ordered a bunch of desks, got them very late like everyone else, and are now selling them at a loss. Other theories aren't pleasing.

They are units bought by CryptX for their mining project (which is 100% publically owned and currently running at 1260TH).

They also got their units with significant delay, but are now giving you the chance to buy it at a fair price.

I am more and more concerned that Bitmine is just going to turn out, at best, incompetent fools going into bankruptcy, like HashFast, or at worst, scammers who will run away with our money. Therefore I think we should all collaborate and come up with a strategy to file a lawsuit against them. Bitmine should be made to know that IF they do not refund every person who's money they are illegally keeping then they WILL end up in jail. The best course of action for them right now is to issue all outstanding refunds. It is not a joke that they are keeping hundreds of thousands of dollars of customer's money and giving nothing in return. People have posted in this very forum about losing their apartment, or worse, getting divorced and losing custody of their child because Bitmine kept their money instead of returning as per the CPP.

The amount Bitmine owes me is not small, 12000 USD is not a joke. I will do everything in my power to make sure they pay, one way or the other. As I said, we should collaborate on this. gpufreak has already done a great job with http://www.bitminerefund.com/. We need to support that site and help out in any way possible. If need be I will travel to Switzerland to file a case with the police myself, but will ask for help for any Swiss guys here as to the procedure.
