When I joined a ICO project bounty threads, means that I am very bullish on this project, so I am willing to grow with the project, so I will hold for a long time, generally more than six months.

I think you should read their road map first if you think that their project has a great future ahead of them ,
Then why would you sell it at a low price there are some project that seems to be low valued when the bounty is released so others would immediately sell them off because of the fear that their earnings are being lessen .
But after their project hits what they are aiming then the value of the coin starts increasing .

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##
I suggest you hold the rewards for the mean time. Take a look. When the bounty reward was distributed, the price of the coin goes down in the market. When that happened, you should hold your coins and wait for it to increase.
this is also what i have been observe for when they have distributed your rewards for , then for me what i have been also done for is just i have hold his for until now i do this for.

If I receive a reward for my reward. I think I will hold my token!

Because the digital currency of the reward task I participated in just went public, the market still needs time to accept him, the price may not be very good now! Perhaps hold token, wait for price to reach your psychological expectation on sale!

For ur problem, I think it is better to hold as u did not to have a currency stream.
I want to ask how do u find the campaign which will pay u tokens. I tried some campaigns but did not pay for me.

Base on my experience, you need to HOLD first if you think that the price is not capable enough to sell because it is profitable if you sell it if the price is high. So, for me Bounty rewards is nicer if you still hold it and wait for the right time.

I always keep at least half of my tokens.
I participate in such projects, in which I see a perspective.
And if i participate in Bounty, i also try to buy coins on ICO.

Thats double profit. Buy ico and join bounty can make double profit.
Join in bounty and buy token in project is good but make sure is good project. Dont ever invest in ico if you know that the project is not really good.

Its depends on what your campaign supporting because other tokens won't affects the market value of the coin in bounty distribution. In that case you can hold your coin.

When I make a decision to sell or hold tokens from bounty, first of all I look at the market, if the market is falling, then all tokens will also fall, and if it is growing, then there is a very high chance that the token will show a very good growth

Not everyone is a coin holder some are weak hands, they sell once the coin is in exchange. Patient is needed to sell at the right,i am patient enough to hold so i hold until its moons before i sell.

I think it would depend on the project and how much confidence you have in it being a success, it is true that people are very keen once an ICO is over to hassle the devs about an exchange listing which sometimes is the completely wrong thing especially if a project is at the early stages of development.

Airdrops are worse.

It all depends on the project. If the project is a weak or frank scam, then I immediately sell the tokens of this project. And if the project is good and promising, then you need to keep the tokens and wait for the development of the project. Then these tokens can be sold much more expensive.

Selling your bounty stake tokens rewards from signature bounty campaigns when they do hit the Crypto Exchange will not offer you more possibilities and chances of getting high Crypto Asset value.
Thanks to my full-time job career that my salary is more than enough to feed and support my family's Daly basic needs and I choose to hold them all since I joined this forum and started to participated multiple signature and other bounty campaigns at the same time for almost over 6 months now.
I never regret holding them because I am delighted everyday when I wake up that my Crypto Assets are increasing day by day week by week.
And now I am holding more than $57,000 worth of Crypto Assets and counting.

You and my friend has in common on telling me that it all depends on the project and intuitions.
But I decided to hold them all even against all odds, so, what really happened now is I am holding almost $60,000 worth of Crypto Assets today while he got only around $5,000 because he choose to sell some of his coins and those coins that he under estimated were the ones who are actually pumping until today.
Holding Oyster PRL is a blessing and I don't consider I am lucky because I never sell them until today that is currently pumping day by day and week after week.
I choose to HODL my altcoins because I have a full-time job.

first, if the price is already equivalent to the price of ICO, I will sell my bounty gift tokens. Because to reward investors

but if the market price is still below the ICO price, I would rather do HODL

My plan is, I will sell as much as 80% of the total bounty I get and 20% will hold on my wallet as a memory

I'm new to this game too, but I'm in the same frame of mind than you. I think my decision will above all depend on the feeling I've got about the project I worked for.

And I think you're right about people needing the money as a monthly or weekly income, but there must also be some people who wants to take advantage of the "pump" effect that happens just when the bounties are "paid", and are not willing to see how the token will evolve (or maybe are afraid ot it ?).

Every ICO takes some time to be stable in the market after  its bounties end, so selling reward immediately is not preferable unless you are a risk averse

Most of the tokens from the new successful ICO was a big chance to rise it's market value after the ICO or after a month but few of them really don't. After I get the my tokens from the bounty programs, I hodl it for a moth or 1-3months rather, this is the way where I have a profit to the tokens I get in the bounties. Hodling of tokens is hard if you always doubt and think negatively. In hodling your tokens is like taking a risk if you get more profit from it or you loss some worth of your tokens if the price increases.
