Hold or sell, depend on the price of bounty reward. If I get altcoin that potential for future I wanna hold it.

That depends on your firm decision. But if these tokens/coins are very promising to go up very high in the future then it's also a good idea to just hodl it for now. I have seen many tokens that has almost a valueless price but turned so big in the coming years.

I have not sold anything yet, but I think that it's worth to leave 50% hodl, of course, if you don't need money urgently, it's clear that many companies can die Through half a year, a year or two. Therefore, one always needs to look at the real perspective of the project

so far I often sell my bounty gifts after receiving token from them. I rarely hold token from bounty campaign because I'm afraid the price will go down. I do not want to experience an incident like my friend who has lost due to hold tokens for a very long time.

Ya, that also a good skill for your hard work reward, but you only earn a small profit if sold them after receiving token from them, I prefer to 70% holding and sold 30% bounty reward, so you'll earn extra profit when token price increase

In my suggestion it's better to hold than to sell it Immediately, Many bounters sell their Bounty rewards and gain a small profit unlike the holders gain a huge profit by holding the rewards.
well done. and doing like this you're really showing that you did this bounty tasks like not only for money, but for the project behind that tokens.

If you very urgently need money, then you can sell a small part of your reward. But if you save the coins that you received to participate in the bounty then you can get for them much more profit after a year or two.

When you doing bounty, you read countless info about the project, FUD or otherwise. So you should know better. But according to the stats, at the first, token price is skyrocketing. But after a month or so it goes down below ICO price, sometimes even below pre-sale. So selling straight and then buying back could be a good strategy. Unfortunately, bounty hunters got their tokens quite late, when the price is going down. Because we're the ones who dump it first and hurt the price.  Grin

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

Most of the time I HODL for a period of time before selling probably half of it depending on the value of the token in market.

A few months ago I was convinced that the best tactic was to hold the coins in a year or two, in the hope of a significant increase in value. But then I concluded that some of the coins need to be sold when a pump occurs, otherwise in real life, debts will accumulate

I see this question as "To be or not to be!") In fact, ask yourself, are you an investor? if the answer is yes, you know what to do, but this does not mean that you need to keep everything, since a lot of one-day projects!

Base on my exposure on cryptocurrency for a period of one year, it is best to utilize both method, some coin need to be hold and some need to be sold. If you can identify the pump period of the coin and that would be a great time to sell it.

I think that it is better to take a little coins, and then when the best date to sell them. You can fully sell all the coins at once, and can sell part, and leave the part for a long time.

There is a reason to wait and not sell immediately. Although of course it all depends on a particular coin or a tokens, because among them there may be something not promising.

Especially this advice is relevant now, when most ICO token is two to three times cheaper than on the ICO.

Well, bounty rewards can be utilized by both selling immediately or sell depends on you. What must others do why they sell immediately there token because of the distribution of token which the investors and hunters can do together exchange which the price in the market are up rising in which the flow of market is not surprisingly goes high so the moment token are sold, it will dump to a cheap which is better sell rigth away. Or it could do hold as long as the market are increasing tremendously that gives you bigger profit ahead.

If you are getting the tokens at a discount then yes, you should sell once it hits secondary markets.  This is dependent on the quality of the token you are getting.

The issue of selling off tokens upon hitting exchange varies amongst people. some may want to sell and invest in other projects while others want to put food on their table as you said above. In some countries in Africa and Asia where the value of dollars is high in their local currencies, a bounty reward of $200 is a good thing for the month. It will pay alot of bills and put food in the mouth of the whole family. This is my opinion.

I havent recieved any bounty stake till now but when I get, I dont hesitate to sell them. Finally, I dont invest and earn money. If I sell it now and it increases in the future, I wont be upset but if I dont sell and it decreases, I will extremely be upset. By the way, bird in the hand is worth two in the bush
