I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

If ever I had a bounty campaign reward, I'll rather sell immediately than to hold because I'll give my self a reward for spending time and hard work answering those topic.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

if i get a gift from bounty i will sell it directly. for my additional capital investment in the world of crypto. especially now that prices have started to improve. the right time to make a profit. to cover the losses I experienced in the last month .

Try HODL coins for months after you received it coins because you simply giving a chance to grow but that isnt always the case you see most of the tokens drop their price after the ico because there is a hype of urgent trading after the token is distributed so my suggestion is  to move before this happens.

Try HODL for the tokens you can get from your bounty campaigns especially when you know that it is a good project you can hold it within a year.

It is really depends on the hunter because if i were you,i will hold these tokens until they have reached their full potentials, because most of the developers of these new projects needs a lot of time so they can accomplish their roadmap and it takes months to years for them to do what they need to do,that is the perfect time to sell these tokens.

Mostly as per my knowledge better don't sell them because it might give you more profit if you hold it for long term. Check twice if you joined in potential project then it will automatically give thrice income if you have hold them for more than 6months.

there is in the economy such a thing as missed profit, and although you invest only time, you miss the opportunity to sell at a good price, I will not say the exact amount, but if you wait you can lose tens of thousands of dollars

It depends on the demand of your token that you got in bounty rewards if there is too many bounty applicants or members then you should sell it immediately because other applicants will be panick to sell and this will cause the dumping of your coin/token.

If i think that the bounty project , i am going to be successful ,
i will provide the tokens i will receive to them and i also
sell them to the right time is a matter of thoughtful wisdom in trade.

I do not think that it is necessary to sell tokens received after carrying out and an exit on a stock exchange of the project in which you took part as a bounty hunter. It seems to me that people should have a sense of patience.

of the total tokens I get from bounty gifts, I only sell them partly, and that's about 50%, therefore as a form of anticipation in capitalizing on the sales moments of every available market at the right price.
Because sometimes at the beginning the distribution of tokens has a high price.

As I do: I try to always keep my earned tokens after campaigns for generosity. For me, this is the best strategy, which brings much more profit than if I immediately sell them.

Most of the time, when the ICO project list on the exchange, so I can sell these tokens, then put more of the ICO project funds investment, then can obtain the biggest benefit, it is a good strategy.

Tokens received for participating in the bounty, I sell partially, transferring bitcoin to others. So it's more convenient to track them. What to sell is at your discretion. Part of them I output in Fiat

I have some trading skills, that I can trade some of the coins. 1-3 coins

Personally I think it is not advisable to sell immediately, atleast you should give it time before you sell so has to find out information about the coin.u have to wait and also see to if the worth will increase or not. So I think it better to hold so as to not loose on the long road

When the token from bounty rewards is distributed it will immediately be dumped by hunters.
Most of them never think about the future project. They will sell immediately whenever the exchange is released.

If you participated in a project that has a good product ,team and community,It will not be wise to quickly offload your bounty reward as soon as the coin is listed.Your risk is near zero,so bounty hunter are better off hodling.Thats what i do.I only see a small portion to take care of my expense, the rest are treated as investment.Someday i w ill be rich from the coins accumulated

I personally do not do this. For the time being I hold coins of all the projects in which I took part. I believed and I continue to believe in these projects, so I will continue to keep coins for a long time.  Smiley

And I personally hold some my bounty tokens for a long time because I believe it will rise one day however some them maybe because of the quantity I might decide to sell them and get some money for my up keep.
