Question: Do you like a video presentation of CotiPay and updated UPS roadmap?
Yes indeed, very informative
Yes it was okay, no special feelings
Yes, I  watched a video and read the article but didn’t understand how CotiPay works.
I didn’t watch video and didn’t read updated UPS roadmap

to be honest, I completely did not understand why this system surpasses the usual crypto currency exchangers? It is absolutely the same exchanger with small features
"Our payments network was designed to take over where traditional payment systems left off, namely with instantaneous transfers, low-to-zero fees and cost effective buyer-seller protections. This is a major advantage for consumers and merchants alike as compared to traditional banking, credit cards and P2P platforms."
I also read the information on the site, but I noticed that absolutely all the Crypto currency exchangers are aimed at reducing fees and increasing the protection of their customers

And what specifically in this project is undertaken to achieve maximum protection of the seller and the buyer? What is the innovation and competitive advantage of this platform relative to the rest?

Try reading the white paper, guys. The second part describes many ways to protect your wallet against various types of aggression, and each time the algorithms hit

What example is there an algorithm? Suppose, if a transaction is made using the service COTI, the server is attacked by a ddos attack...

11.8 Denial of Service (DDOS) Attacks
As a result of the servers’ centralised nature, an attacker could flood the Trust Score Server with
requests. Such an attack implies that users will not able to get Trust Scores easily and the system
might slow down, or even be incapable of processing transactions [12]. To prevent this, COTI will
employ standard DDOS prevention mechanisms, such as load balancing for centralised servers. A similar
attack could be launched against specialised nodes, such as the DSP Nodes because of their somewhat
centralised nature. However, since some of the specialised nodes will eventually be general users, they
may not have access to load balancing. COTI will therefore need to ensure that at least some of the
specialised nodes that are hosted by general users will make use of robust networking technology to the
extent that the network will not cease operation.

Oh, that's very good! In the 11th paragraph of the technical white paper, all types of attacks were analyzed and methods were found for their elimination and deviation

Cool! I've never seen a development team bother so much that they even issue a whole collection of questions on the answers inside White Paper

I think this is the level that COTI platform wants to present to us as a bright future. I agree that we need a secure platform, so let it be COTI

I really like the team's desire to make a single convenient payment system of a new generation, which will include a convenient exchange of funds like Fiat and crypto-currencies. I think the future is for this technology!

Will they be able to provide such a standard of payment, which can combine the Fiat and Crypto-currencies. That is, whether it will be a universal means for payment.

The founders and developers of this project are setting these goals, they want to present a really good, high-quality and necessary product to the market. Which will be an ultimatum decision.

But the creation of such a complex platform requires incredible assurances, and the technical realization is very complicated. Can users be sure that the team will cope with this?

This project is engaged in a serious team, I believe in the success of this technology. In more detail you can study all the technical documentation on the project website. There in detail it is described how this product is realized.

I already tried to do it, but I could not. Just all the documentation in English and it's hard for me to understand the technical text in this language. I would like to know if it makes sense to wait for the translation of this into other languages or not. Huh

I saw that this project has a bounty program, maybe a translation campaign is included in it. I would check it if I were you. Wink

I already checked this, and I did not find a translation campaign there. It turns out here is to rely only on the development team itself, it all depends on their wishes.

Then you can try to ask the team about it in a telegram chat, I think that there you will be able to find the answer to your question.

As far as I know, the private sale of tokens has already started, at least this is written on the project website.
