Ive had my tablet on auto login on the site. So i have read access to my account and see whats happening. Been loged in the whole week.

My PC was logged in, too, all week.  But today I'm logged out, so I also wondered if something had changed.  Apparently not, though.  I'm now logged out, but nothing else seems to have changed.  I'm gonna miss knowing what's going on with my account....

Blah just pretend you are mining on middlecoin :p

I've been watching the situation these past few days and I'm satisfied if not impressed by the way the hashcows operators addressed the losses and handled the (angry) users. Especially reassuring was the reimbursement of the victims.

When do signups open again?

So I am not the only one having login issues? When I login it seems to half work. No "wrong password" error and my hashrate is displayed but nothing else. No personal balances and the login form still active.

Hoping this gets fixed soon.

We understand everyone's concerns as we try to work through all the issues that keep popping up. I was up till 3:30 in the morning answering support email's and I had to be awake at 6 for my day job. In no way am I complaining just letting you all know we are working are butts off for you guys. I will get home from work in an hour and go straight to doing support emails. I hope to have them all done by tonight but no promises.

Nearmiss is busy working on rebuilding and we hope to have a base portal up soon which should have at least new user registration and a few other things up. I'll get nearmiss to update you all on that tonight if we have time.

thank you for the continued support.

Any chance we can get some idea of how long the backlog for email support is? I never received my email after the cashout tool said one would be sent. That was nearly 48 hours ago. I also emailed hashcows support about an hour after that and never got a response from that either.

I am fine to wait as long as I get my coins. No problem. Some sort of time estimate on a response would be great, though.
Me too.

You guys need to get some help, you shouldn't be pushing yourselves to exhaustion. I mean work hard and fix everything because, as has been mentioned, this is a major operation with a lot of people involved. Just remember the biggest of pictures and your biggest life priorities. Seriously, get some help from trusted friends or something. I'm sure we will all be here when it is all up and running back to normal.

As I have mentioned in a previous post in this thread, I am the user "billion" on Hashcows.

I just received a reply from support in to my email that I sent regarding my cashout tool email never making it to any of the only three email addresses I ever use.

In my original email to support about this issue, I asked if Hashcows always required a valid email address when signing up, because those three are the only addresses I own. Since the email didn't go to any of them, either the hacker messed with my email on file, or Hashcows didn't require one when I registered several months ago and I didn't enter one. I also verified the exact amount of BTC I had stolen as well as the BTC cashout address that should be on file in my Hashcows account to further prove I was the user "billion".

The only response I received from support a full two days later was that the email I was messaging from wasn't the address on file with my Hashcows account, and then asked what email I entered on file with them. Support didn't even attempt to answer my original question on whether or not the site always required email addresses be entered when registering new accounts back in the early days of the pool.

I then sent a lengthy email to support listing everything shred of information I have for my "billion" account. I even had ledger information that was precise right down to the minute that I have now sent you that in my opinion completely solidifies that I am who I claim to be. There was other strong evidence that I sen you as well. I hope this is enough that you can work with me to help complete the cashout process for me. If for some reason you find the provided evidence not compelling enough, as a final ditch effort, I can email support my Hashcows password for the "billion" account.

I am not really comfortable doing this and will only do it as a last ditch effort to retrieve my BTC if you tell me that I have still not proven in your mind that I own the "billion" account. I hope that you read the entire email this time and not just the first sentence again like you did with my original email, as my situation cannot be resolved with a "What email address did you enter with us?" blanket response.

Atriz has perhaps already taken care of you, however, to answer your question, yes hashcows has always required an email address on signup. No emailing of passwords please.  PM me if you feel its still needed.

Was contacted back quickly by support and the issue was handled great. Apparently yahoo rejected the emails (even not allowing into my Spam folder) and that was the issue with it not getting to me. I have received my BTC in full and I certainly do appreciate Hashcows making things right for everyone as well as the specific extra help I needed to cash out.

When Logins are enabled, I will gladly mine here again. Thanks.

Keep up the good work in the next year! Cheesy
