Would it be possible to use mBTC instead of BTC so that we do not have to count too many zeros.
This would be good I'd prefer not to do that, because then we have to convert from mBTC to BTC when we want to value them on an exchange. You're not familiar with the metric system huh? It's like expressing 0.001 meter or 0.001m as 1 millimeter or 1mm, it's just a lot easier on the eye and brain. We are used to counting zeros after the point not before it. But until all Bitcoin sites start doing it there will always be confusion caused to many. Oh come on. Do you really, hand on heart think I'm unaware of the metric system?! Or were you just being patronising? You can speak for yourself and how your brain works. I was merely speaking for myself. It's entirely possible that someone might prefer something different to you. My point is that we can copy and paste the existing value (expressed in BTC) into exchanges for an immediate valuation in other currencies, without having to divide first. Your last sentence proves my point - most sites work in BTC not mBTC.

What I want to change is to express the "my estimated earning" in each round in mBTC as there are too many zeros before a nonzero number in a small earning in each round. The client ledger and coin balance can still be in BTC. Our brain should be powerful enough to convert between mBTC and BTC, but it takes me some time to count zeros.

Tbh, there is no reason we can't have both formats if the admins deem it necessary

There is an easy fix for that. Get more hashpower.

It was quite possible, I lived in the USA before and met many unaware. You didn't say anything about cut and paste, you said "convert". I understood that to mean convert the currency, not convert the format. I can hand on heart say I didn't mean to be patronising, I just misunderstood what you were getting at.

Haha, alright. A classic case of internet misunderstanding by both of us. My apologies - *offers hand for handshake*

At the moment, the HashCows pool is mining ANC which is about as efficient. I tried mining GDC on another pool but nothing than trouble. Sometimes, when something seems to good to be true, maybe it is.

Very true! I'm sure the devs have everything under control, I'm just being twitchy. I keep seeing GrandCoin (GDC) and GlobalCoin (GLC) going crazy. For example, GLC is currently about $60 per DAY per 1 MH!

I think it's inevitable with the increasing price that mBTC will become the display of choice eventually, (some gambling sites already use it), but it will be a pain of a transition.

For example, GLC is currently about $60 per DAY per 1 MH! I mined GDC when it first came out and only ever got half of what should have been returned from the difficulty calculations. The pool I was on dropped it because of all the complaints. There is something very fishy about that coin.

GDC and GLC both have been on the pool in the past. On paper it looks great but when you throw 1 gh at a small coin like that three things happen... difficulty sky rockets....tons of rejects and the market support isnt there. The payouts when we tested the coins were pretty bad.

how is this most profitable?
5155 SBC 03:01:59 AM 125 3127.15 0 0 354.37 2772.78 0.000002 BTC 5154 WDC 02:39:58 AM 49 2756.72 0 0 321.4 2435. 0.000017 BTC
im referring to SBC at a little over 3 hours for only 0.000002 and its green so its complete
compared to WDC at close to 3 hours and makes 8 times more in less time at 0.000017
even FST at 36 minutes has more profit in way less time
5161 FST 00:35:58 177 5666.3 61 1952.2 0 0 0.000004 BTC
while FST not green yet i dont expect it to change so drastic it would be worse then SBC.
so again how is SBC more profitable?
