I thoroughly can't help contradicting you. No altcoin can ever have the energy of Bitcoin. Ethereum is exceptionally mainstream and generally utilized, however Ethereum has genuine rivalry too - NEO. NEO will hurt Ethereum and Bitcoin will be constantly a long ways ahead.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

No talking about value, Ethereum would be the next generation of cryptocurrency. Compared with bitcoin, ethereum has overcome its limitations, and the transaction speed of ETH is much faster than BTC. Not only ETH, other platforms like NEO, EOS, XRP will probably be the next generation of cryptocurrency.

as per current situation ETH seems its not possible but ETH have good chances to beat BTC because now a days more ICOs depnded by ETH and some countries planed project with ETH hence its happens coming days

Right now, price of ETH is low, is there again rise in the ETH ? I can see eth going above bitcoin because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.
There are a lot of talks yet about what currency will be next Bitcoin. I think that there is no sense in such discussions just because Bitcoin itself is quite strong to conquer any competitor. That's just IMHO of course. |

There is no next bitcoin, bitcoin is here to stay. Ethereum is an awesome projects with it's own goals and trials but comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges

I think ethereum is the second best coin on the market. And I think the price of ethereum will reach $ 2,000 by the end of the year. But I do not think the ethereum will overtake bitcoin. I think bitcoin will continue to be the best coin for the at least next 3-4 years.

It is possible to have a substitution Eth to BTC in the future. But it may come in 10- 15 years coming. Because currently BTC still is keeping its dominant power and value in the market.

Ethereum is a second generation blockchain, but it has the problems with scalability. The only difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum is that the second one allows to write smart contracts and create DAPPs.

Bitcoin and ethereum have different purpose. Bitcoin purpose is for currency and store of value and ethereum is used for bussiness platform with smart contract. I think its hard to compare between bitcoin and ethereum because from the beginning both coin have different platform |
