If you need help setting these up, see beastlymacs support thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319419.0

Update (8th Nov 2013):
Everythings been shipped, expect your tracking number shortly.

Update (6th Nov 2013):
Compensation was sent yesterday ( txid  fe49abf18cb7be13674e3033bb0a8382fd97cc28afaf4db34f7bb922cc5124b5 ), if you didn't receive it because you're not listed ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=297320.msg3473210#msg347321 ) please get in touch.

Update (4th Nov 2013):
I've received the first batch of 50 units and can confirm they've all been shipped. ( pics: http://imgur.com/a/wf8lE#0 ) Hopefully the next batch wont be far behind!!!

Update (3rd Nov 2013):
With any luck the first shipment of miners will arrive tomorrow (Monday) and I'll ship them out the same day, and then hopefully we'll receive a tracking number for the rest.

Update (31st Oct 2013):
I've been informed by beastlymac that some units have been shipped. The online tracking shows that they are expected today/tomorrow. The rest of the units will be shipped today/tomorrow and hopefully received by monday.

Update (23st Oct 2013):
Production of the units started yesterday (22nd October) and will be dispatched to myself by the end of the week.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=299295.msg3385017#msg3385017

Update (21st Oct 2013):
There have been some delays in the manufacturing process. Beastlymac has confirmed they're due to ship by this coming Friday. Beastlymac has also stated compensation will be issued for the delays. Unfortunately, to those few who are sending me private messages requesting refunds, this is not possible I'm afraid as payment was sent to beastlymac some time ago to process the order(s) I do not have your funds to issue a full refund.

Update (7th Oct 2013):

Payment for the USBs was partially paid to beastlymac some days ago. Beastlymac tells me that the PCBs are manufactured in China and unfortunetly the shipment was delayed due to a Chinese holiday at the start of the month, furthermore with the bitcointalk forum being down there was difficulties contacting the bitfury team.

Beastlymac has said they should ship to myself by mid October.

Hey,

Eighth group buy - EU/UK Only Smiley

After a fair few requests i've started a group buy for BlueFury USB Miners  - Due to ship (to me) around the 7th of October 2013.

*Edit: Yes the name changed from Red to Blue Fury, because the LED and PCB are now blue, everything else is the same.

I'll certainly take one initially, just to see how it works.  I'll pay later, when we're closer to the end of the GB.

I was hoping you would run a group buy for these, but I think they are too expensive. I'll think about it. Do they still think delivery time from Indonesia is about 10 days?

At 0.87, they are cheaper than 7.5 asicminers, which would come to BTC1.275.

Making an ROI is a question that's always going to be an issue with current tech, until you can pull 10gh/s out of a chip.

I agree, really they are a 'fun' item. I'm a bit short of funds at the moment, which tends to colour things. Perhaps I can shift something on eBay before I join in.

Who gets to keep the BPMC memory stick? OutCast3K I guess.

What is the deadline on this group buy?

Is it linked to the Red Fury 9pm 20th Sept deadline?

I believe they're shipping around the start of October, so around then.

Its not linked to that deadline. no.

I'm more interested in the novelty factor, rather than ROI.  I like tinkering with these things.  Grin

Do it, he's been perfect with every group buy i've been in and has lightning fast shipping when he gets the stuff to send.

Time to promote this guy from GB organiser to Distributor.

Plus it would be nice to have a supplier of something bitcoin related in the UK, rather than ordering from the other side of the world Tongue.
