2.5 Gh/s   2.5W

4 of these are every bit as good as a blade and are just in time to replace my first dead erupters ( one is now showing 50% errors another 30%)

these little babies should still be hashing a reasonable return till the middle of next year.
If they deliver on time its almost as good as "off the shelf".

I have a total of 6 units ordered. Anybody know what a good USB hub will be to run these on? Also which PSU should I use with the USB hub?

Anyone got some ebay links?  Thanks!

This one is good for 6 and use the 7th to chain. The PSU it comes with is 3A. It's cheaper on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0002AFZVM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Due to the actual size of these sticks, this hub will only support 4 plugged into the sockets, If you need more, then it will need extenders.

I think you will also find that the power supply will not be stable with more than 5 units. (using erupters, this hub starts to become unstable with 6, BlueFury is approx the same power rating).
5 should be ok, 6 MAY start to cause a lot of errors.

I'd go with the anker 10 port hub - more expensive than the others but better quality - I have 4 of these and they are able to run 10 asicminer units each with no problems. I'm hoping they will have no problem running these new fury units too.

I run 4 of these with no issue
http://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet®-Power-Adapter-Cable-Chipset/dp/B00DCO9YVM/ref=pd_sim_computers_5
the annoying thing they were on £22 when I bought them and they've gone up £12!

I also have 3 anker's 10 ports and they too are great --> sadly discontinued now

The new Ankers are 9+1 --> I've not used these

Power wise these are ok, spacing of the sockets is the problem, the Red/BlueFury is much bigger than an erupter.

What we need is a 50mm/75mm high, rigid usb extender. then 10 will be no problem.(anyone seen this type of extender yet)

The new Anker hub ( 9+1 port ) is much smaller than the old hubs, I would avoid that hub if you are wanting to use BitFury USB's. The power is the same as the old hubs, but the spaces between the slots is much less.

You can get the old style Anker 10 port hubs but they have been rebranded. These re-branded hub are identical to the Anker hubs, same power supplies, everything

You're right Zammo - I have the old style 10 port - not the 9 + 1 (just noticed the difference).

Over the last month I have blown 3 psu's on my Orico hubs, (the £22 model)
If you return them under the 24 month warranty, they will not replace the unit , only giving a refund.

New unit is £40 and identical.

A replacement psu on amazon (5A) is £6.50   So ordered a few spare ones.

The old units can go back for refund when the warranty period is almost up. By then my erupters will be redundant.

Here is a picture of the new Anker 9+1 port hub compared to the older Anker 10 port black/silver hubs. Also shown is a re-branded black Anker 10 port hub, the TeckNet 10 port

You can see the massive size difference.

Do you think this one is big enough for the Blue Fury?
