Outcast has always said, right from the start, the blues will be sent out in the order of which people paid for them.

If you have pre-sold blues on eBay, then tough... you should not sold something that you did not have in your possession. You screwed the market for any other sellers that did the honourable thing and waited to receive the usb's instead of making promises they could not keep. You tried to be clever and get ahead of anyone else who wanted to sell but it backfired on you. You deserve the crap you are getting from the buyers.

hi everyone perhaps outcast can ship first to those who bought to sell on ebay.

the reason is that every day more people are requesting refunds which causes the sellers big losses.

people that bought to mine its not the end of the world waiting a day or two.  perhaps a very slight loss of revenue perhaps 0.0035 per day.
rather than the people who sold on ebay who would loose out far more since they gave their buyers dates respective of tuesday shipping from beastly.

the way to tell who bought to sell is by looking at how many they ordered.

people can comment if this is fair.

Completely unfair on other buyers. Outcast did mention that they would be dispatched on a first come first served basis (i.e. those who paid first in order). They are not sellers, they are re-sellers for an extra profit margin and THEY decided to take a RISK in selling as a THIRD party, so IMO, TOUGH  LUCK.

No ones saying others shouldn't or can't, you can but you run the risk of people wanting refunds.

They are however giving a small refund for each USB purchased you can offer to give that to your ebay buyers as a partial refund for the lateness.

First in first out seems the only fair method in this situation.

Agreed, forming an orderly queue and moaning about the weather is what puts the Great into Britain.

Those complaining about delays, when they're only reselling for profit, should STFU - some of us buy these things to mine with.  Bizarre concept, mining with miners, eh?

OC3k - any chance you could throw in a couple of Block Erupters rather than sending the 0.05BTC refund?

Going by the prices, I'd be happy to "Buy a Bluefurry and get a Block Erupter free"

I'm waiting on block erupter stock, fingers crossed it'll arrive at the same time, so I could try to organise this... Probably best you PM me if you want that deal.

We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated, governments in the civilized world—no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and the duress of small groups of dominant men.

These are RedFurys in this picture, but I would imagine they are roughly the same size as Blues

I bought some to sell and some to mine with. The ones I sell were intended to mitigate the ROI on the ones I keep to mine with. Only now, I am expecting to lose money on the ones I planned to sell. The only guaranteed way of turning a profit in Bitcoin mining, is by selling the equipment for it.

The people who have decided to resell their Blues have very good reason to complain as in the last 3 weeks, the price of USB/Blade erupters have dropped so low, it has caused a big shift in the market for £/GHs ratio... leaving people that purchased BlueFury's far behind the curve. If you could get the BTC for the Blues you purchased and bought USB erupters instead, you would have almost 3 times the hashing power. Maybe you don't care abotu that fact but people looking to buy mining equipment do and will be more inclined to buy ASICMiner stuff.

There were no rules for buying the Blues, buyers do not HAVE to mine with them. Just because you bought the Blues to mine with does not put in a superior moral position than people who want to sell them.

Very funny to see people complaining about others reselling units to make money when they want to keep their units to make money.

The red heatsinks look very close to the reset switches.

I have seen a picture somewhere of the new Blues, with the heatsink the other way around and shorter, so there is every chance for a better fit.

I've had 6-7 (maybe more) requests via PM today from people asking that I issue their compensation immediately, because they need it to buy something or want to cash out Huh. Some people have even requested that I send their funds to an address other than the "refund address" they originally specified when they ordered. (you'll have to send a signed message later)

There is very little chance in me the compensation now (today), I'm not at home now until this evening, nor do I think its a good idea to complicate things by issuing the compensation to just a handful of people, but I will begin bundling up a transaction to process them all in one go, shortly.

To keep everything open and transparent, I was thinking of posting a list of peoples refund address and username and then allowing 12-24 hours for people to message me if they see anything wrong before I send.

What do you all think? Any objections?

i think that's a great idea - and you should send the compensation through to the same address you received payment on.
