How did Ken know to redesign the chips if we never had boards? Makes no sense.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Test board perhaps. I'm curious as to what equipment has already been shipped out as of 5-6 weeks ago

USD going to over $10,000 in the next year. If this happens Active Mining with its own chip, our current resources which will be increasing with the exchange rate, and eASIC as our partner will put us in an excellent position to dominate our market.
No doubt - that is excellent news. So if I get this right - if BTC continues to rise in value it will open up revenue streams that will mean I find that I have shares in one of the biggest BTC hardware AND mining companies on the planet?? Bring on February.

Weekly Update: 1/8/13 Question From VinceSamios: Update Requests: When and Where will we be able to trade shares?
Crypto-Trade and ChromaWallet (colored Coins). As soon as we get time to finish the verification interface; however, our core business comes first and working on Intellihash. When is the first batch of chips/boards supposed to arrive at VMC Assembly?
Our engineers are still designing our board. We had to change our engineering firm, and learn a few lessons about hiring an engineer firm. We don't have a date at this time. What do you estimate the ActM hashrate be at the end of January, February and March?
Due to our inexperience with design, we have had a few set backs; however, we have hired the most competent RTL design team to make sure that when we spin up our chip it will work. They are very competent at Low-Power and getting the most speed from the chip. Do you have any more accurate energy efficiency figures yet? w/GH?
Not at this time. Comment From The CEOHow I see us going forward is we will get our chip and boards into production as soon as possible. Active Mining is in one of the best positions to take advantage of the Bitcoin network. Once we have our chips and boards in production this year we will be one of only two companies in the world which manufactures Bitcoin mining hardware and also mines. With this combination we have unlimited availability to bitcoin mining hardware only limited by our resources. What I see in the future is bitcoin's exchange rate for USD going to over $10,000 in the next year. If this happens Active Mining with its own chip, our current resources which will be increasing with the exchange rate, and eASIC as our partner will put us in an excellent position to dominate our market. Intellihash will just be an added boost should it turn out to be a game changer. Kenneth E. “You can please some of the people some of the time all of the people some of the time some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”
I genuinely feel for those shareholders who feel they are trapped and for whatever reason want to get their hands on some Bitcoins. For the trapped short term speculators I have zero sympathy and for the long term investors like myself I am chuffed to pieces. Ken is making this work and is clearly on a learning curve and is man enough to admit that. I respect him for that and am more than happy to wait for the coloured coins solution. The shareholders are along for the ride for the foreseeable future and can do nothing but suck it up.

Our engineers are still designing our board. We had to change our engineering firm, and learn a few lessons about hiring an engineer firm. We don't have a date at this time. Come on man. Give us a date Ken. Give us a estimated date. Give us a time frame of when we are expected to receive our chips and board. Is it Feb or Mar? Are we going to be up and running before the end of Q1? Is your projected date Q2? I don't like hearing "this year" because we just started the year and we still have 11+ months left in this year. Please be more specific.

Hey Jasun, I had to cash in those 2btc as I think you were aware of. Actually it was 2.7btc worth of cryptocoins which I had mined on my BFL Single to see me through to my next contract in February.

Thanks for the update, Ken and the others of ActM! Keep it up!
Now this actually made me laugh. What update? Can you find one detail of anything in the BS that Ken keeps feeding people like you? Or are you related to him?

Can anyone of you "intelligents" tell me, worst case scenario regarding the boards,
How long will they take from design - manufacture? Are we talking 6months here or?

There is still a very large upside potential to this project. Should this currency continue to appreciate, ACtM will have the funds and suppliers to roll out hardware at an unmatched pace within the hardware and mining industry. Major success for ACtM depends on the value of btc - while minor success (being the full IPO II price refund of 0.0025btc per share) is as good as guaranteed.
Either way, no-one is loosing their money here. As always - keep calm and carry on.

So let me get this straight. The company has nothing. Just contracts. Literally nothing to show. Not a single chip from eASIC. Not even a damned 3D rendering of a PCB at this point. Just a few dozen cases with power supplies in them. I can go to work tomorrow and produce the same picture.
Can you just flat out say "we have made literally no progress at this point" or list what actual specific designs have been completed so we're not wasting our time expecting some semblance of information?

9 weeks for RTL at best before PCB test boards can even hit manufacturing. That's from a top talent company.
