Such a very good information. Some get really creative in storing their keys. Some have them engraved on steel then stored in a safe, some encrypt them in music files, while others have them tatooed on their skin. But as we know, the most commonly found in the loss of bitcoin or altcoin is human error. just enter a private key into an airdrop form and an application that contains trojans or malware that is eventually embedded in the pc. be careful in using tools or applications because of the RAT is not really good. And keep your coin from being stolen by others.
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Good instruction for the beginners and old players. Safety is a main part with Bitcoin, hackers are smart too, but using official sites and programs on PC, it is a best way not to let hack you.

You got to think first before you act - you 're responsable of what you're doing. So think FIRST.
Then you should take care about your privacy.

And that's where our coin can get you through Tor network. Check it out

The only way of doing it so, is just by investing $100 and buying a hardware wallet that is impossible to be hacked, that is the only way! stop being so fool, coinbase, blockchain.info, all those are shitty wallets

Very helpful information, especially for beginners. And there are many hackers in cyberspace waiting for these fallen victims are just a few basic steps to protect us but there are also ways to protect ourselves. For example do not join a lot of air drops because this can be a threat to the wallet. You are hacked like your ETH wallet, while the address is always required for you to qualify for a reward. Sometimes, due to the user's carelessness, it's possible that the user's wallet was hacked by another user because they accidentally entered their really stupid private key. The main point here is that, we should always be careful of our credentials to avoid this type of incident.

Nice information for beginner here. bitcoin has attract many peoples including the bad one such as hacker and scammer.
you must protect your wallet, never trust anyone. it will safe.
Sometimes hackers can easily hack your wallet. The best way to protect your wallet is to copy all of your data to USB and store it in safes or somewhere secret

Some get really creative in storing their keys. The important thing is how to understand the hackers then lock them up. To be able to do that then must know how to think them.

Thanks for the useful tips about cyber safety.

Can someone share their cases if they were hacked? So we can learn from your mistakes and avoid it happening in the future. Thank you!

Thanks for this one, but one thing for sure is that never share something vital about your self as it might be also a way to break into your emails and crypto wallets.

That's true, my friend. To avoid losses, we would need to take the necessary precautions for the sake of our cryptocurrency funds. It has been proven that centralized exchanges, and online wallets are the number one target for hackers. While some of these services offer additional security with 2FA, they're still not the safest way to protect your hard-earned cryptocurrencies. The ideal way would be to either use a hardware wallet for all your transactions, or a cold storage wallet (where the keys had been generated offline).

This way, it would be practically impossible for a hacker to get access into your cryptocurrency wallet. Also, leaving coins in a decentralized exchange, wouldn't suffer the risk of such an attack. Therefore, each day, people are noticing how unsecure cyberspace is, which will lead them to other alternatives to help protect their cryptocurrency funds. In the future, we might depend on decentralized exchanges, and hardware wallets to interact with cryptocurrencies without the fear of hacks or theft. Smiley

Technology wise, well I really do not have any idea on how to stop those hackers to hack my crypto wallet but I could at least prevent them from doing so.  It is by I guess doing some precautionary things like as much as possible to not use public computers to check your wallet status.  Checking other devices that are not yours could also help.  Saving passwords on any devices could trigger also some risks.  That is all I could do.

In general, as I know, hackers are more interested in crypto exchanges: this allows you to access several accounts at once. That is why attacks on crypto-exchanges are more visible and cause resonance in the market. hacking electronic wallets is not so interesting, because it is difficult to crack them, and the content may not be so solid. to crack cryptichelp need confidence that the amount on it will cover the costs associated with its breaking.

HMMMMMM! these criminals are all over the place, in fact very close to us- the hackers, scammer and frausters. We surely need to watch out for these unscrupulous individuals. They may come in the form of wolves in sheep's clothing and promise us all the not existent huge profits. However, they can never get access to our bitcoin wallet  until we allow them by giving out our private keys. Please do not be a victim, lets be careful with whom we expose our wallet details to

The world has always been full of good as well as bad persons.  There are so many nice saints but one the other hand several cheaters you will always find.  Earlier pickpockets were picking the money from your pockets when you were in public places.  Now with the change of time people are not carrying much fiat currency in their pockets as they have started using crypto.

With the change of form of currency by the users; the cheaters have also developed their mode of cheating / stealing.  They needed to digitalise their method because now the money is lying in wallets.

All need to be alert so they are not being cheated.  Never share your keys.   Avoid usage of public internet just to save some  money.  Usage of cold / hardware wallets can be opted.

Be alert always; otherwise pickpockets have always been there.

You write quite detailed. It is very helpful to me and I would like to suggest that you can use a hard wallet to secure your information instead of the free wallet that the publisher provides. Next to that is the powerful security software
