Something that I was thinking about is the exhaust fumes that occur when burning the waste. I mean, yeah it's a good that you don't have to dump the waste on a landfill but aren't these fumes bad for the environment, too. Or are there filters that remove all the dangerous substances from the fume?

I think the team and the developer already tackled that issues in my opinion. It would be awkward if that is going to happen that instead they help the environment, they area probably giving a pollution. I think everything is set according to plan and what you pointed out have already been discussed.

Maybe if the 4New project succeeds they might be able to open other locations and your island might be one that 4New consider, either way if they solve the waste and power issue then this tech/methods will be wanted all over the world!

I think the real difficult part is how to continuously feed the waste to the incinerator, the amount of waste needed to keep a steam turbine going is tremendous

I think in todays technology they have filter technology which is going to eleminate these kind of dangerous substances from the fume. When we just think about the cars and the developement of the filter technology in cars is really to appreciate.

As far as I know there are a lots of issues around the globe that talks about pollution when in terms of different power plants. I would say this project anticipated that kind of issue and I'm sure they already have an answer about this kind of concern that might affected our mother nature.
