Definitely yes - but of course they are not so popular yet.
You can only see BTC as a form of investment / speculation right now - and not many features release differently from other cryptos.

The fact is there is always the high chance that lowly capitalized coins will move faster than those in the top especially bitcoin. It is basic. It only takes several millions of dollars to move coins that are still worth few millions than those sitting in billions that would take also billions to make it double in price.

True, the coins that are moving faster than BITCOIN are not so worthy as BITCOIN is and their price is alternating so frequently because they are trying to catch the attention of people which they are not getting otherwise.

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

In my opinion, Bitcoin has been traveling fast ever since being made bitcoin, but late bitcoin is a bit slow for travel, but it's also not so left behind with altcoin for a while. Because other coins depend on bitcoin values. I think bitcoin remains king of coins

based on what do you suppose that bitcoin is too lame to compete with other cripto currencies? so far the bitcoin currency is still the highest priced crypto currency in the market, so I think it is wrong if you mention that bitcoin development is slow

That's correct. Bitcoin development is not slow, actually bitcoin is still the number one coin in the world of cryptocurrency. Maybe you are not too patient to wait until the price will go up again.

Bitcoin undergo process when it was created, and it pick inform in crypto market after a short period of time, base on that no alt-coin is faster than bitcoin, because bitcoin has an initial target which other alt-coin have not even think of it.

I really believed that even some cryptocurrency are moving so fast but still i didn't consider it as competitor of bitcoin because they are very far away comparing to bitcoin achievement in crypto market.

yes agreed to your statement that altcoins move faster . i have seen altcoins moving at twice of there ico's price in a very short time . But when it comes to future or long time trading you can see the altcoins which very at a good rank with a good price last year now barely exsists in the top 50 coin but bitcoin remains at the number 1 spot

Lol. If you haven't noticed, alts movement are greatly influenced by btc movement. Of course they may move faster but that makes them a lot more unstable and riskier than bitcoin.

I think bitcoin is not slow and it is competitive in the market. In fact bitcoin still is number one. When a bitcoin price is faster to move, it does not mean that it is the best. The only problem in bitcin is its user. The community needs to rethink how to use bitcoin and the proper use of transacting with it.
I agree with you that being faster is the best. There are many reasons to mention why bitcoin is still the best cryptocurrency. The emergence of these various coins that make bitcoin seem unrivaled, but the reality isn't like that. Bitcoin is still at the top and it will take quite a long time to be able to overtake the bitcoin.

I can't say that bitcoin is moving faster than altcoins. The rate of altcoins, as well as bitcoins, is equally lowered, then rises. I would not dare say that altcoins can now earn more than bitcoin. The market is unstable now. The levels of charts is very sluggish dynamic. It is not known where the price will go up or down.

That's just your opinion. Bitcoin is not slow. I think the movement of bitcoin is unpredictable and not that it is slow. bitcoin takes time to move.

Bitcoin is still undisputed and the number one cryptocurrency.Maybe we have our own different opinion but i believe that bitcoin will make a comeback while other coins that are growing too fast will inflate like a bubble and boom.Gone like the wind and those pitiful investors didn't even realize the risk of a high increase. No one can really predict the future so we cannot say who is right and who is wrong.Bitcoin already have a lots of supports and already gain enough attraction to invite more investors to join.
