Thanks niceman. The site looks great.
How about to add http://www.CoinMine.PW to the second post with pools list? Done. We'll get it added to the website and CCT as well.

Just wanted to pop in and let the HBN community know that I'm behind it and I want to help where i can.
Has anyone ever tried to adapt p2pool to HBN? I was thinking of looking at the NVC p2pool fork an having a go, but didn't want to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks StakeHunter. There were a few that tried to run a p2p pool. For some reason all of the blocks generated from the pool were rejected, not sure why. I'd guess the new NVC p2pool should work. If you do want to give it a shot, let me know.

The current mac wallet does create more orphans. My belief is that the efficiency of staking on the mac is reduced and it takes longer for the block to get out of the kernel. My suggestion is to combine blocks on the Mac client and have fewer larger blocks competing for stake. This should reduce the amount of orphans. I'll continue to look at ways to improve this.

Whatsup with stakepower? i made a 2nd wallet and ive had nickels in there for more then 10 days and no stake . How does it work exactly? Ive had my wallet open the entire time only closed it for pc resets once every couple days or so. its been like 15 days and ive got about 50 nickels or so that should have showed something by now? I made sure to make the 2nd wallet like you had suggested but no stake. Am i just not keeping up and this is a known problem? if so Im sorry for kicking a dead horse but whatsup with stake?

I think way too many people are staking now for that to occur. Most of my POS-mined hobonickels have taken 30-40 days. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but that has been my experience, and I leave the wallet open 24x7. I'm not saying this as a bad thing, I think it's a sign of the coin having matured past the make-a-quick-profit-and-dump-your-coins stage that many altcoins struggle to get past. The announcement page does state that as more people do POS, the reward and/or timeframe to receive a reward, will change.

According to what that article says I shouldn't have a problem as all my stake coins are only spread over about 35 blocks. However, I will try it - but I want to confirm a couple things. If I go into send, then click inputs, then select a bunch of blocks to "combine" then click OK, what do I do next? Do I put an address in the 'custom change address' field or the 'pay to' field? Do I need to create a second wallet and send the coins to that wallet? If I do that, do I then need to send them back from wallet B to wallet A? Or is it okay/efficient to have coins staking in two separate wallets (through the same QT application) simultaneously?

Or is it okay/efficient to have coins staking in two separate wallets (through the same QT application) simultaneously? use the 'pay to' field i only send coins between different wallets (may be ok to send to different address in same wallet but can't vouch for that) no need to send back from B to A you can stake in different wallets in one app (i've got one hotwallet and 2 stake wallets all open in the same muti-wallet qt app) keep in mind that your coin-age will reset to 0 when you combine your blocks if coin-age > 10 days i suggest you wait for them to stake first and then combine afterwards

Even though you explicitly selected the coins you want to combine under "inputs" do you still also have to type the total amount into the "amount" field?
