anybody plz help... my whole lot of coins stuck in there..sitting no staking..

I do see that zip for 1.4.0.1 is bad. We'll have to get that one replaced.

You can try this one.
http://www.fileswap.com/dl/SnNNULZqH/

But really there should be no need. It should sync in 5-10 hours.  If you are having other issues, we need more information. Like logs files or screen shots.

I think the zip file was just bad. It wouldn't unzip for me. What did you use to create the .zip?

Hi Guys,

Since this morning I got this error. Anyone know what to do?

Assertion Failed!
Program: C:\Temp\...\HoboNickels-qt.exe
File src\kernel.cpp, Line 395

Expression: pindex->pprev||pindex->GetBlockHash()==(!fTestNet ?
hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet)

Windows 7
HoboNickels 1.4.0.0

Hope you can help us.

Regards,
Guido

Hi Guido, check out this thread for the details on this error. https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/9588-hbn-trouble-shooting-guide-assert-failure/

I would take the time upgrade to 1.4.0.1 since you will have to rebuild the index.  It seems to be more stable, and allows for much faster start up time.

https://github.com/Tranz5/HoboNickels/releases/download/1.4.0.0/HoboNickels-qt-1.4.0.1.zip

I used this link and everything works fine.

Yes, tested with both 7zip and Windows 7 built-in zip explorer

New copy uploaded here: http://cryptotrade.rs/hbn/HBNchain20140529.zip

If someone would please try to download and check if it unzips for them, I would appreciate it.

You still need to rename/delete your txleveldb directory, as it has become corrupted.  Then startup version 1.4.0.1

Weird. I just tried it with Win 7 built in, and win rar. Both give me an error.  Maybe something during the download, not sure. But I tried it from 2 computers as well.

Wow HBN's price is right in my strike zone right now. TEK is a bit high, CAP is a bit high (don't know where it will stabilize), and HBN is low.  HBN is the only coin I am actively buying right now. I try to send a good 50-250 HBN to my wallet everyday.  And spreading out my buying over days/weeks allows me to not have to worry about timing my buys at the exact right time.

Agree.  The HBN charts fro Jan-May have been some of the healthiest of all the cryptos with slow smooth growth. I think this current dip is transitory due to a few factors like rising BTC, DRK mania and CAPs revitalization, and represents a great time to buy in.

I'm still nibbling at these prices. The staking is nice, especially when it's a daily occurrence.
