My stake is/will be 1 BTC worth.  I will not get any NXT for free.

P.S.  We are still too far from desired 250 users.  Maybe we will attract more people after I show colored coins in action...
I had send around 0.63BTC if I recollect correctly.
Can I send more up to the 1BTC?

How do you know a user will not send more than once?

I can use a new address and/or new wallet...

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

So one user is allowed to send as many transactions as he wishes, either using the same hash and bitcoin address, or same hash and different btc address, or different hash and different btc address, or different hash with the same btc address, as long as he is following the cap limit and not exceeding it? Asking for utmost clarity Wink

Yes, you can.  That is why the cap of 1 BTC was set.

Is it possible to get a false positive if someone uses bitfog as well?  Both payments will go from the same shared address, am I right?

Alice can use a mixing service to send bitcoins to the transfer address.  Bob could use the same service as well.  Taint analysis will show their sending addresses match, because they both used the same shared wallet.  Right?

They use a pool - I am not sure if it is based on 1 or more wallets.
What I do not like in them is that I have the option only for up to 5 different deposit addresses.

On the other hand I just realized I have a knowledge gap on whether a bitcoin address can be linked with a wallet without actually having access to the wallet.dat file...
EDIT: I mean if they can figure out only with blockchain analysis that a single wallet is responsible for two or more addresses. I think yes...

On anonymity this guy seems to have grabbed the real issue:

Maybe you answered it before... but why the Anonymity? What can go wrong if you'll say who you are?
anyhow, It looks serious enough and I sent you .7 BT a while ago.
Good luck.

Maybe it's a superstition but I'm trying to follow in Satoshi's footsteps.

your comparing BTC to this guys coin ?

and we do know who made BTC.. Satoshi Wink

and hey let's dig into this a bit more shall we..
so some TomSchmuck went and did something before.. does that mean its ok to do that for now on ?
at what point do we stop this pitiful making excuses routine and fix things ?
I've heard it all..
Someone wants to do something sketchy and their defense is XYZ coin did it.. so god damn what !

and Anon devs are the starting point.. if they can't meet that requirement i won't continue checking if i wanna bother.. mining and trading etc
there us actually other factors but if step one is check for secret anon devs and they fail that why should i bother ? they will certainly fail on other aspects lol

But hey by all means your all free to do what ya want..  and justify to yourself any behavior etc
If the potential to make a fraction of a cent maybe is worth sacrifing your integrity and you can convince yourself its ok to mine everything that comes along ?
then more power to ya have fun with that.. do it while it lasts because you guys are killing the scene and you may wake up broke one day when coins are worthless..
and you can all just "untick the checkbox" on i posses coins that have value

I was watching The Prestige and skimming thru the recent posts when I found an interesting thread and interesting replies:

You made a thread to solely make Nxt look good and promote it in a wrong way.

and

And an idea has crossed my mind.

Focus. We used to think that most of altcoins r created to make their creators rich. Nxt is not an exception, but it does it in unusual way.

A few points to think about:
1. Where all these drug dealers from Silk Road went to?
2. Is it possible for one man to develop a cryptocurrency in a few weeks (not to fork Bitcoin code)? 1 month ago we haven't ever heard of Nxt.
3. Is there anyone crazy brave enough to run a Silk Road clone?

And now let's look at Nxt:
1. Decentralized, u can't shut down it.
2. Invulnerable to ASICs/supercomputers coz it's not a PoW currency.
3. All features necessary to run a nxt Silk Road r being developed in 1st place.

We suspect Satoshi is a group of people. What about BCNext? He may be a group of programmers who r paid for creating a platform where drug dealers will trade their goods. Or just a man who wants to make the world better.

PS: Just IMHO inspired by the movie  Wink
