I'm going to start the process of claiming the coins.
The account thing is going to be a part of the NXT proccess, or it would be enough to generate an address just like in bitcoin. i.e. if someone wants to buy NXT in the future he'll have to get an account?

Well... It's hard to use Nxt without an account.

Nothing personal, but it includes my key. Wouldn't that allow you to claim my coins?

Yes. But after I fix the issue u can check genesis block data to make sure I claimed them using your account. If something wrong we ask an admin to reveal the text of ur message.

I got it working...I had mis-understood how it works.

Step 4 :  This step is executing for the java client.  Leave this running!

How To in Windows....I put stuff in C:\NXT folder...Then...
      Start -> RUN -> CMD.exe
      > cd \Nxt
      > java -cp Nxt.zip Nxt

Place these two lines in a text file and rename NXT.CMD and all you need to do is click on it.

Step 5 : Paste "http://localhost:7875" in your browser of choice.  {Step 4 must be running!}

Seems to be working fine.  Thanks

Okay that was my misunderstanding as well, I saw that error and didn't even try the 5th part once. Now the client is running!
Two questions:
Will Nxt be launched tomorrow at 9 am GMT, as Come-from-Beyond informed us earler today?
How long after the launch it shall be possible to transact some coins between accounts?

At 12:00, BCNext didn't change his mind.

The client is cross-platformed. It works everywhere, I could launch it on my fridge if it had more memory.

JRE version not compatible with OSX 10.6.8!
You think an older one would work?

Nxt Program management tools
------------------------------

Hi,

After review many free solution  ''kanban style'' tools of project management,
i advice to use  Trello platform. i create a first structure, feel free to create a user account on trello platform
and ask me by pm to add you on The nxt coin organization.
Also feel free to suggest new board or card inside board.

The other free solution are very limited in terms of users or projects/boards.

link : https://trello.com/thenxtcoin

Board topic :
---------------
for now , this main board topics are create :

Communication & Marketing
Exchange
Meetup
Organization
Research & innovation ideas
Software
Support & Wiki

PS :
-----
Kanban Flow tools seems interesting too as a second choice if we need it.

Future step : it seem Trello tools don't offer a ''gant style'' project management. I think in a second step  2 or three ''manager'' of nxt community can work on a share ''ganttproject'' file and share some pictures with group with google docs or google sheet.
Any suggest welcome.

I also create a nxtcoin@gmail.com administrative mail adress for ''a future board'' of administrator.
