Most of us chose colored coins to be implemented in the first place.  I have to place Messaging ahead to get full potential of colored coins, so we will get both for the price of one Smiley.

UPDATE

Added chained transactions support.

What chained transactions are.  Each transaction may refer to other transaction.  For example, a message-type transaction may refer to a payment-type transaction to describe what the payment is made for.  If a transaction refers to other transaction it can not be added into a block until the referred transaction is confirmed.

Chained transactions can be used in different ways.  A SatoshiDice-like service can accept unconfirmed transactions and do instant payments.  The only thing necessary is to refer a betting transaction.  If a bet is not confirmed (due to being double-spent, etc.) the reward paying transaction will not be confirmed as well.  Your homework is to think what else the chained transactions could be used for.

Why do we need a domain?  Bitcointalk.org is enough.

Um... because it's BITCOIN talk? And where are you planning on putting the client if not on a domain? How do you intend to market your currency and separate yourself from Bitcoin... if not with a domain of your own?

Using bitcointalk is fine for now, but if any altcoin really is serious about success, I think it has to break free and create a space of it's own. Otherwise it would be like Apple trying to market their products on Microsoft's forum.

I have to say.. I thought you were serious about creating a real contender to Bitcoin, but seeing you write things like this makes me lose confidence and see you as an amateur instead of a professional.. in other words; not a "business" I want to invest any more in.

Decentralized currency with a domain controlled by the USA centralized entity?  Half measures is a way to failure.

Okay, maybe it is too early to announce but... Nxt will have the main Namecoin's feature -- decentralized DNS.

Are Bitcoin Wiki and bitcoin.org and welovecoins registered and run by Satoshi? (maybe some of them are, I don't know, but that makes him easier to identify, and he is not known to the crowd yet)
It will not take too much time after a successful launch that a foundation could be put in place. If it gets some popularity, there will be some of more relaxed open members or investors who start to make it publicly placed in some registered WWW domain. But the main platform will go on with or without these features. (as BTC would have worked without those above-mentioned sites, though much much less popular or known)
The site is not a big concern now.

I insist that we should NOT use centralized DNS.  Usage of centralized services to support a decentralized platform is nonsense.  Nxt will support Unicode domain names in any notation (not only dotted style).

You need some heavy advertisement and/or marketing this two months: a coindesk report, reddit/twitter/facebook colorful presents, some videos..
You may decide to pay people some satoshi to spread the words, or their corresponded nxt coins (this you said not possible before launch)
Anyway without good media/press coverage and +1000 users pre-launch, you ll be left with a well featured crypto yet obsolete coin because of the lack of enough adoption and/or marketplace. You should start..

I would like to repeat the words of one great man

I'm better with code than with words

Also a lot of sites are unusable via Tor.  Could you all help me with PR a bit?

I didn't mean you do all the things yourself but rather: make a giveaway (thread), offer people some satoshi (well not too small) for spreading the word of Nxt to different places (provable) and ask them to publish their efforts with a btc address. You, or another guy in charge, can every week once review all the efforts of that week and pay proportional amount of micro btc to the effective ones. (still was better if you could assign a source of nxt to giveaway instead of btc, since this will increase the user-base as well, but you say that's not possible)
Also a bit later at early December you can place some bounties for making video and things alike to push it even faster.

Agreed, coindesk may well be interested given all the Nxt features.

Ten pages ago I wrote this

Let's try to do it such way

1]  Post here a link to your webpage (facebook, twitter, blog) that spreads the word about Nxt.
2]  Publish your Nxt account id.
3]  Wait for some coins from a donation pool after Nxt is launched.

I will set up the donation pool account right after the launch.

This is still actual.

By the way, in addition to decentralized DNS Nxt will have decentralized file storage.  Nxt client will be hosted on the blockchain, updates will be published from my Nxt account (the same as the generator of the genesis block).  I hope my Nxt stake will be enough to push all planned updates.  The current version takes the same volume as 1280 payment transactions, that can be quite expensive to pay fees for storing 160 KiB.

I had send 0.63BTC - I want to fill up to 1BTC.
What is the way to proceed? Shall I use the same phrase for the hash or a new one?
